Configuración e instalación

This section provides instructions for installing your Vissani window air conditioner. A window opening with a maximum width of 36 inches is required.

2. Ensure you have all necessary tools (screwdriver, measuring tape, level).
3. Choose a window that is structurally sound and can support the weight of the unit.

Pasos para la instalación de la ventana:

1. Preparar la ventana: Open the window and clean the sill area.
2. Fije el riel superior: Secure the top rail to the top of the air conditioner unit with screws.
3. Instalar paneles laterales: Slide the accordion side panels into the side channels of the unit.
4. Coloque la unidad en la ventana: Carefully lift the unit and place it in the window opening, ensuring the bottom rail rests on the window sill. Tilt the unit slightly outwards to allow for proper drainage.
5. Extender paneles laterales: Extend the accordion side panels to fill the window opening and secure them to the window frame with screws.
6. Ventana segura: Lower the window sash behind the top rail of the unit. Install the sash lock and foam seals to prevent air leakage and provide security.

Instrucciones de funcionamiento

Your Vissani air conditioner can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

Funciones del panel de control:

• Botón ON/OFF: Presione para encender o apagar la unidad.
• Botón MODE: Cycles through operating modes: Auto, Cool, Dry (Dehumidify), Fan.
• Botón VENTILADOR: Adjusts fan speed (Low, Med, High) in Fan mode. In Cool or Auto mode, it adjusts fan speed for cooling.
• Flechas hacia arriba/abajo de temperatura: Ajusta la temperatura deseada.
• Modo ecologico: Activates energy-saving operation. The fan will turn off when the compressor cycles off and will cycle on periodically to check room temperature.
• Botón TEMPORIZADOR: Sets a delay start or delay stop time (up to 24 hours).
• Botón de dormir: Activates sleep mode, which gradually increases the set temperature over several hours for energy efficiency and comfort during sleep.
• Botón FILTRO: The filter clean warning light will illuminate after approximately 250 hours of operation. Press this button after cleaning the filter to reset the timer.

The remote control duplicates most functions of the control panel and adds the "I Sense" feature.

• I SENSE Button: When activated, the remote control acts as a thermostat, sensing the temperature at its location and adjusting the air conditioner's operation accordingly. This provides more precise temperature control in your immediate vicinity.
• Botón C / F: Alterna la visualización de la temperatura entre Celsius y Fahrenheit.

Mantenimiento

El mantenimiento regular garantiza un rendimiento óptimo y prolonga la vida útil de su aire acondicionado.

Limpieza del filtro de aire:

1. Apagar y desconectar: Siempre apague la unidad y desconéctela de la toma de corriente antes de limpiarla.
2. Eliminar filtro: Open the front grille and carefully slide out the air filter.
3. Filtro limpio: Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. For heavy dust, a vacuum cleaner can be used first.
4. Filtro seco: Deje que el filtro se seque completamente al aire antes de volver a colocarlo. No lo exponga a la luz solar directa ni al calor.
5. Reinstalar filtro: Deslice el filtro seco nuevamente a su posición y cierre la rejilla frontal.
6. Restablecer luz de filtro: Press the "FILTER" button on the control panel or remote to reset the filter clean warning light.

• If storing the unit for an extended period, clean the air filter and ensure the unit is dry.
• Store the unit in an upright position in a dry, cool place.
