4. Configuración e instalación

4.1 Rear-Facing Installation (5-40 lb, 19-40 in.)

For rear-facing installation, ensure the car seat is positioned in the back seat of your vehicle. The child's head must be at least 1 inch below the top of the car seat shell.

1. Place the car seat in the rear-facing position on your vehicle's back seat.
2. Route the vehicle's seat belt or LATCH strap through the designated rear-facing belt path.
3. Tighten the seat belt or LATCH strap securely. The car seat should not move more than 1 inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path.
4. Verify the recline angle is appropriate for your child's age and weight, typically indicated by a level line on the car seat.

4.2 Forward-Facing Installation (30-40 lb, 35-40 in.)

For forward-facing installation, the child must meet the minimum weight and height requirements. The top of the child's ears must be below the top of the car seat shell.

1. Place the car seat in the forward-facing position on your vehicle's back seat.
2. Route the vehicle's seat belt or LATCH strap through the designated forward-facing belt path.
