3.1 Controls and Indicators

4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the DC5V port on the speaker and to a compatible USB power adapter (5V/1A, not included). The LED indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged. A full charge typically takes several hours.
4.2 Powering On/Off
To power on the speaker, press and hold the Play/Pause button for approximately 3 seconds. You will hear an audible prompt. To power off, press and hold the Play/Pause button again for 3 seconds.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Bluetooth Pairing
- Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
- Search for "Aiwa AW-SJ215" in the list of available devices and select it.
- Once successfully paired, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the LED light will stop flashing.
5.2 FM Radio Mode
- Press the M (Mode) button repeatedly until you enter FM Radio mode.
- To auto-scan and save available stations, press and hold the Play/Pause button. The speaker will scan and store stations automatically.
- Use the - and + buttons to navigate between the saved FM stations.
5.3 AUX Mode
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, computer) to the speaker's AUX input port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
- Press the M (Mode) button repeatedly until you enter AUX mode.
- Control audio playback directly from your connected external device.
5.4 TF Card Mode
- Insert a TF (microSD) card containing MP3 audio files into the TF card slot.
- The speaker will automatically detect the card and switch to TF Card mode, beginning playback.
- Use the Play/Pause, -, and + buttons to control playback.
5.5 Hands-Free Calling
When your speaker is connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth:
- Answer Call: Short press the Play/Pause / Call button when an incoming call rings.
- End Call: Short press the Play/Pause / Call button during a call.
- Reject Call: Long press the Play/Pause / Call button when an incoming call rings.
5.6 LED Light Control
Press the Light button (often indicated by a sun or lightbulb icon) to cycle through different LED light modes or to turn the lights off.
6. Maintenance
- Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals.
- Avoid exposing the speaker to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity for extended periods.
- To maintain the IPX5 splash resistance, ensure all port covers are securely closed when using the speaker near water.
- Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use.
