5. Configuración

5.1 Instalación de la batería

The WaterProg timer requires two (2) AA 1.5V batteries (not included).

  1. Localice la tapa del compartimiento de la batería en la parte posterior del temporizador.

  3. Insert two new AA 1.5V alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.

5.2 Conexión del temporizador

The timer is designed for tool-free installation.

  1. Screw the timer directly onto your outdoor faucet. Ensure the connection is hand-tight to prevent leaks.
  2. Connect your garden hose to the outlet at the bottom of the timer. Again, hand-tighten for a secure fit.

6. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

The WaterProg timer features a rotary dial and several buttons for easy programming.

6.1 Puesta en hora del reloj

  1. Gire el dial giratorio a AJUSTAR RELOJ.
  2. Utilice el HOUR+/MINI- Botones para configurar la hora actual. Presione HORA+ to increase hours and MINI- para disminuir los minutos.
  3. Once the correct time is set, turn the dial to the next desired setting or to AUTO Para salvar.

6.2 Programming Watering Cycles

The timer allows you to set a start time, duration, and frequency for watering.

  1. SET START TIME: Gire el dial a HORA DE INICIO. Usar HOUR+/MINI- Botones para configurar la hora de inicio deseada para el riego.

6.3 Modo automático

After programming your watering cycles, turn the dial to AUTO. The timer will now operate according to your set schedule.

6.4 Riego manual

Para regar manualmente fuera del horario programado:

  1. Presione el MANUAL botón.
  2. Utilice el HOUR+/MINI- Botones para configurar la duración de riego manual deseada.
  3. Prensa MANUAL again to start watering. The timer will automatically stop after the set duration.
  4. Para detener el riego manual antes de tiempo, presione MANUAL de nuevo.

6.5 Función de retraso por lluvia

To pause watering for a period due to rain:

  1. Presione el RETRASO POR LLUVIA botón.
  2. Utilice el HOUR+/MINI- buttons to set the delay duration (e.g., 24 hours, 48 hours).
  3. Prensa RETRASO POR LLUVIA again to activate the delay. Watering will resume automatically after the delay period.

6.6 Turning Off the Timer

To completely stop all watering functions, turn the rotary dial to APAGADO.

7. Mantenimiento
