Panel frontal

The front panel features the main controls and display.

• Main Rotary Knob:

• ANT (External Antenna Interface): Connects the included retractable antenna or an external FM antenna. This is a PAL female connector. For connecting standard US F-type antennas, a PAL male to F female adapter (not included) is required.

Configuración

1. Conexión de la antena

Connect the included 33ft retractable antenna to the HORMIGA port on the back of the S5000 unit. Position the antenna for optimal reception. The magnetic base allows for flexible placement on metallic surfaces, such as a windowsill or rooftop. For best FM reception, ensure the antenna is fully extended and placed in an open area.

2. Conexión de altavoz

Connect your passive bookshelf speakers to the Canal derecho y Canal izquierdo screw terminals on the back panel. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative) for each speaker. The S5000 is designed to drive speakers with an impedance of 4-8Ω.

3. Conexión de alimentación

Connect the included 18V linear power supply to the Entrada de 16 V-20 V CC socket on the back of the unit, then plug the power supply into a wall outlet. The S5000 will automatically power on once connected to electricity. For optimal performance and to avoid interference, use only the provided 18V linear power supply or another high-quality 16V-20V linear power supply.

4. Audio Input (AUX) (Optional)

To use an external audio source (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player), connect it to the Auxiliar 3.5mm input jack on the back panel using an appropriate audio cable (not included).

Instrucciones de funcionamiento

1. Encendido y apagado

The S5000 powers on automatically when connected to a power source. There is no dedicated power button. To turn off the device, disconnect it from the power supply.

2. Selección de modo

Automatic Channel Search (Auto-Scan)

With the device in an FM radio mode, long-press the ATS Button. The S5000 will automatically scan for available stations within the selected frequency band and save them to memory.

Ajuste manual

To manually tune to a specific frequency, long-press the Main Rotary Knob until the FM frequency on the display starts flashing. Then, rotate the Main Rotary Knob to adjust the frequency. Short-press the Main Rotary Knob again to exit manual tuning mode.

Guardar estaciones

After tuning to a desired station (either manually or by rotating the main knob), short-press the ATS Button to save it to memory. The device retains all settings, including saved stations, when powered off.

4. Emparejamiento Bluetooth

When in Bluetooth mode, the S5000 will be discoverable by your Bluetooth-enabled device. Buscar "Facmogu S5000" (or similar) in your device's Bluetooth settings and pair with it to stream audio wirelessly.

Solución de problemas

Ninguna energía:

Ensure the power supply is securely connected to both the S5000 and a working wall outlet. Verify that you are using the correct 16V-20V linear power supply.

Mala recepción de FM:

• Ensure the antenna is fully extended and properly connected to the ANT port.
• Adjust the antenna's position; try placing it near a window or in a higher location.
• Perform an auto-scan (long-press ATS button) to refresh available stations.
• Check for sources of electrical interference nearby (e.g., other electronic devices, non-linear power supplies).
• If using an external F-type antenna, ensure you have the correct PAL male to F female adapter.

No hay sonido de los altavoces:

• Verify that speakers are correctly wired to the Left and Right Channel terminals with correct polarity.
• Check the volume level using the Volume Knob.
• Ensure the correct input mode (FM, Bluetooth, or AUX) is selected.
• If using AUX, ensure the external audio source is playing and its volume is up.
