1. Introducción

Thank you for choosing the XSDTS DF14 Smart WiFi Door Lock. This advanced digital lock integrates multiple security and convenience features, including 3D facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, password entry, smart card access, and traditional mechanical key unlocking. It also features a built-in intercom, doorbell, and tamper alarm, providing real-time monitoring and communication via the Tuya App. This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.

4. Configuración e instalación

The XSDTS DF14 Smart Lock is designed for mortise installation on wooden or metal doors with a thickness ranging from 35mm to 110mm. Due to the precision required for installation, professional assistance is recommended.

4.1 Preparación de la puerta

1. Ensure your door thickness is within the 35mm-110mm range.
2. Carefully measure your existing mortise lock to select the correct size for the DF14. Refer to Figure 4.1 for guidance on measuring.
3. Prepare the door by drilling necessary holes according to the provided template (not included in this text, typically found in the physical manual).

4.2 Pasos de instalación (másview)

1. Instale el cuerpo de la cerradura de embutir en la puerta.
2. Connect the cables from the front panel to the rear panel.
3. Secure the front and rear panels to the door using the screw kit.
4. Instale la batería y cierre la tapa de la batería.
5. Perform initial setup and calibration as per the on-screen instructions (menu and voice prompts are in English).

5. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

5.1 Configuración inicial y gestión de usuarios

1. Upon first power-on, follow the voice prompts to set up the administrator password and fingerprint.
2. Access the lock's menu (via the screen) to add additional users, fingerprints (up to 110), facial profiles, passwords, and smart cards.
3. Ensure to register all desired unlocking methods for each user.

5.2 Desbloqueo de la puerta

• Reconocimiento facial 3D: Stand in front of the lock, align your face with the camera. The lock will automatically recognize and unlock.
• Huella dactilar: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock rapidly.
• Contraseña: Enter your password followed by the '#' key. For enhanced security, you can enter random digits before or after your actual password (anti-peeping feature).
• Tarjeta electrónica: Tap your registered smart card against the card reader area on the lock.
• Llave mecánica: En caso de emergencia o de agotamiento de la batería, inserte la llave mecánica en la cerradura oculta y gire para desbloquear.
• Tuya App Remote Unlock: Open the Tuya App on your smartphone. When someone presses the doorbell, you will receive a video call. You can then view the visitor and remotely unlock the door.

• Carga de la batería: When the low battery indicator appears, connect the lock to a power source using the provided charging cable. A full charge typically lasts about 3 months.
• Cuidado del sensor: Keep the fingerprint sensor, facial recognition camera, and screen clean and free of dust or smudges for accurate operation.
• Llave mecánica: Store the mechanical keys in a safe place outside the property for emergency access.
• Actualizaciones de firmware: Check the Tuya App periodically for any available firmware updates for your lock to ensure you have the latest features and security enhancements.
