Configuración

1. Instalación de la batería

The Kiprim WM01 Moisture Meter requires one 9V battery (included). To install the battery:

The device is now ready for use. If the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the battery promptly.

Instrucciones de funcionamiento

1. Encendido y apagado

Presione el Botón de encendido/apagado (center button) to power the device on. The LCD display will illuminate. To power off, press and hold the On/Off Button for approximately 2 seconds.

2. Selección de modo

The Kiprim WM01 offers four measurement modes for different materials. Press the Botón de selección de modo (M) Para recorrer los modos disponibles:

• MURO: For general wall materials like drywall and plaster.

• SOFT WOOD: For softwoods such as pine, fir, and spruce.

3. Taking Measurements (Pinless Operation)

The WM01 uses non-destructive pinless technology. To take a measurement:

1. Select the appropriate material mode using the Botón de selección de modo (M).
2. Place the back of the meter, specifically the Measurement Sensor Area, flat against the surface of the material you wish to measure. Ensure full contact for accurate readings.

5. Audible Alerts and Mute Option

The meter provides audible alerts when high moisture levels are detected. To toggle the audible alert sound on or off, press and hold the Mute/Hold Button (H) for 2 seconds. The speaker icon on the display indicates the current sound status.

6. Measurement Depth

The Kiprim WM01 can detect moisture levels up to 40mm (1.57 inches) deep. For optimal accuracy, the ideal measurement thickness is between 20-40mm (0.78-1.57 inches).

Measurement Modes and Interpretation

The meter provides visual and audible indications of moisture levels. Refer to the table below for general guidelines on moisture content for each mode:

• Objetos Metálicos: Avoid measuring areas with metallic concrete, steel bars, wires, or other metal objects inside the wall, as these can significantly affect the accuracy of the readings.

• Material Density: The manufacturer does not recommend using the meter on gypsum walls, as the low density of the material may lead to less precise readings.
