2. Configuración

2.1. Instalación de la batería

The T605_H2O radios come with rechargeable NiMH battery packs. They also support the use of 3 AA alkaline batteries for alternative power. To install the battery pack:

• To activate the flashlight manually, press the dedicated flashlight button (usually located on the top or side of the radio).
• Cycle through white, red, and off modes by pressing the button repeatedly.

4.1. Impermeabilidad y durabilidad

The T605_H2O radios are IP67 waterproof, meaning they can withstand submersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. This robust design ensures durability in challenging outdoor conditions.

To maintain your radios, wipe them with a damp cloth as needed. Ensure the battery compartment is securely sealed when exposed to water or moisture. Store the radios in a cool, dry place when not in use, preferably in their original carrying case.

• Try replacing the rechargeable battery pack with fresh AA alkaline batteries to rule out a faulty battery pack.

• Obstructions like buildings, dense foliage, or large metal structures can significantly reduce range. Try moving to an open area.
• Ensure batteries are fully charged, as low power can affect transmission strength.
• Interference from other electronic devices can cause static. Try changing channels or privacy codes.
