6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Input Switching

The extractor supports both manual and automatic input switching.

• Manual Switching: Press the SWITCH button on the top of the unit to cycle between HDMI IN 1 and HDMI IN 2.
• Automatic Switching:
  • Enable Auto Switch: Press and hold the SWITCH button for 3 seconds until the LED flashes once. The unit will automatically switch to the latest connected or powered-up device.
  • Disable Auto Switch: Press and hold the SWITCH button for 3 seconds until the LED flashes 3 times.

Important ARC Notes:
1. Please switch to ARC under Audio Out Select.
2. ARC is supported on HDMI OUT and SPDIF port only.
3. Remember to switch to CEC when ARC is not in use.

6.3. CEC Functionality

The device supports CEC (Consumer Electronics Control), allowing compatible devices connected via HDMI to communicate and control each other. For example, turning on your PS5 might automatically turn on your TV and switch to the correct input.

Note: When using CEC, you may not be able to use other remote controls to switch the HDMI switch ports. The CEC function is designed for integrated control.
