3. Configuración e instalación

The Modern Ember Aerus ME-SL42 electric fireplace offers two primary installation methods: wall-mounted or recessed in-wall. Choose the method that best suits your space and follow the detailed instructions below.

3.1 Desembalaje y preparación

• Retire con cuidado la chimenea de su embalaje.
• Inspect the unit for any damage. If damage is found, do not install and contact customer support.
• Ensure all included components are present: Electric Fireplace, Multi-Function Remote, Premium Media Kit (Driftwood & Crystal Embers).
• Remove the glass frame by unscrewing the retaining screws.

3.2 Instalación en pared

1. Locate the mounting bracket on the back of the fireplace. Remove it by unscrewing the fasteners.
2. Choose a suitable wall location. Ensure it is a sturdy wall capable of supporting the fireplace's weight.
3. Mark the desired height and level position for the mounting bracket on the wall.
4. Securely attach the mounting bracket to the wall using appropriate hardware (not specified, assume standard wall anchors/screws for studs).

6. Re-attach the retaining screws to fix the fireplace to the bracket.

3.3 Instalación empotrada en la pared

1. Construct a suitable frame within your wall. The fireplace is designed to fit perfectly into a 2"x6" wall frame. Refer to the included mounting guide for precise dimensions.
2. Ensure the framed opening is level and plumb.
3. Slide the fireplace into the framed opening.
4. Secure the fireplace to the wall studs using the provided screws through the designated mounting holes on the side flanges of the unit.

3.4 Media Kit Installation

• Once the fireplace is securely installed, arrange the included driftwood logs and crystal embers onto the ember bed. You can customize the arrangement to your preference.

3.5 Conexión eléctrica

• The fireplace offers two wiring options:

  2. Cableado: For professional in-wall installations, the unit can be hardwired. Precaución: Hardwire installation should only be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure safety and compliance with local electrical codes.

Your Aerus ME-SL42 electric fireplace can be controlled via the included multi-function remote, the integrated digital touch panel, or through a Wi-Fi enabled smart home assistant like Alexa.

4.1 Operación del control remoto

The included remote control allows for convenient adjustment of all fireplace functions from a distance.

4.2 Digital Touch Panel Operation

4.3 Smart Home (Alexa/WiFi) Integration

Connect your fireplace to your home Wi-Fi network to enable control via a smartphone app or voice commands through compatible smart home assistants like Alexa.

5. Mantenimiento

El mantenimiento regular garantiza la longevidad y el rendimiento óptimo de su chimenea eléctrica.

• Limpieza:
  • Desenchufe siempre la chimenea antes de limpiarla.
  • Limpie las superficies exteriores con un paño suave, damp Paño. No utilice limpiadores ni aerosoles abrasivos.
  • Limpie suavemente el panel de vidrio con un paño suave y limpiador de vidrios.
  • Aspire periódicamente las rejillas de entrada y salida de aire para evitar la acumulación de polvo.
