Configuración
Bobinado inicial
As an automatic watch, it is powered by the motion of your wrist. If the watch has stopped or the power reserve is low, it may require initial manual winding:
- Unscrew the crown (located at 8 o'clock) by turning it counter-clockwise until it springs out to the first position.
- Gently turn the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times. This will provide enough power reserve for the watch to start running.
- Push the crown back in and screw it down tightly clockwise to ensure water resistance.
Configuración de hora y fecha
- Unscrew the crown and pull it out to the second click position. The second hand will stop.
- Turn the crown to set the time. To avoid confusion between AM and PM, advance the hour hand past 12 o'clock. If the date changes, it is midnight.
- Empuje la corona nuevamente hasta la posición del primer clic.
- Turn the crown to set the date and day. Turn clockwise for date, counter-clockwise for day. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 4 AM, as this can damage the movement.
- Pull the crown out to the second click position again.
- When the second hand reaches the 12 o'clock position, push the crown back in to the normal position and screw it down tightly.
Operación del reloj
Registro de Horas de Trabajo
Once set, the watch will continue to operate as long as it is worn regularly or kept on a watch winder. Daily wear for approximately 8-10 hours should provide sufficient power reserve.
Uso del bisel giratorio unidireccional
The bezel rotates in one direction (counter-clockwise) to prevent accidental changes that would indicate a shorter dive time. It is used to measure elapsed time, particularly for diving:
- Before starting an activity, align the triangle marker on the bezel with the minute hand.
- As time passes, the minute hand will move, indicating the elapsed time against the bezel's scale.
Mantenimiento
Limpieza
Limpie el reloj regularmente con un paño suave y seco. Para la suciedad difícil, utilice un paño ligeramente seco.amp Paño y séquelo bien. Evite usar limpiadores químicos.
Resistencia al agua
Your watch is water resistant to 200 meters (660 feet). To maintain water resistance:
- Asegúrese siempre de que la corona esté bien atornillada antes de exponer el reloj al agua.
- No opere la corona ni los pulsadores (si los hay) mientras el reloj esté sumergido en agua.
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperature changes, such as moving from a hot sauna to cold water, as this can affect seals.
- Have the water resistance seals checked periodically (e.g., every 2-3 years) by an authorized service center.
Almacenamiento
When not wearing the watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields. If storing for an extended period, consider a watch winder to keep the movement running and lubricated.
