1. Introducción

The ASUS Prime AP201 is a 33-liter Micro ATX chassis designed for high-performance PC builds. It features tool-free side panels, a quasi-filter mesh for enhanced airflow, and extensive compatibility for various components. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your AP201 PC case.

2. Configuración

2.1. Identificación de componentes

Familiarize yourself with the key components and features of your AP201 case before beginning assembly.

• Quasi-Filter Mesh Panels: Located on the front, top, and sides, these panels provide airflow and dust filtration.
• Tool-Free Side Panels: Designed for easy removal and reinstallation without tools.
• Puertos de E/S frontales: Includes USB 3.0, USB 2.0, USB Type-C, and audio jacks for convenient connectivity.
• Disposición interna: Optimized for Micro ATX motherboards, ATX PSUs, and large graphics cards.

2.2. Pasos de instalación

1. Quitar los paneles laterales: Gently pull the side panels to detach them from the chassis. They are secured with a clip mechanism.
2. Instalar la placa base: Secure your Micro ATX motherboard to the motherboard tray using the provided standoffs and screws.
3. Instalar fuente de alimentación (PSU): The AP201 supports standard ATX PSUs up to 180 mm long. Install the PSU in its designated front-mounted position.
4. Instalar tarjeta gráfica (GPU): The case supports graphics cards up to 338 mm long. Insert your GPU into the PCIe slot and secure it.
5. Install Cooling: The case supports 280 mm and 360 mm radiators and up to six fans. Strategically place fans for optimal airflow.

2.3. Gestión de cables

The AP201 features an extended motherboard tray with strategically placed cutouts and a 32 mm gap behind the tray for efficient cable routing. Use zip ties or Velcro straps to secure cables and maintain a clean interior, which also aids in airflow.

3. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

3.1. E/S del panel frontal

El panel frontal proporciona un acceso cómodo a los puertos y controles esenciales:

• Botón de encendido: Located on the top front edge for system power control.
• Puertos USB: Includes multiple USB 3.0 and USB Type-C ports for high-speed data transfer.
• Conectores de audio: Separate headphone and microphone jacks for audio connectivity.

3.2. Encendido y apagado

Press the power button located on the front I/O panel to turn the system on or off. A short press typically initiates system startup or shutdown, while a long press (usually 4-5 seconds) forces a shutdown.

4. Mantenimiento

4.1. Cleaning Dust Filters and Mesh Panels

The quasi-filter mesh panels are designed to prevent dust accumulation. Regularly clean these panels to maintain optimal airflow and cooling performance. The mesh panels can be easily removed for cleaning.

• Gently pull the mesh panels to detach them.

• Reattach the panels by aligning them with the chassis and pressing firmly until they click into place.

5. Solución de problemas

Si encuentra problemas durante o después del montaje, tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:

• Sin energía: Ensure all power cables (24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU, PCIe for GPU) are securely connected. Verify the PSU switch is in the 'On' position.
• Problemas de ajuste de los componentes: Double-check component dimensions against the case specifications. The AP201 supports GPUs up to 338mm and ATX PSUs up to 180mm.
• Calentamiento excesivo: Confirm all fans are installed correctly and spinning. Ensure proper airflow direction (intake/exhaust). Clean dust filters if necessary.
• La entrada/salida del panel frontal no funciona: Verify that all front panel connectors (USB, audio, power switch) are correctly plugged into the motherboard headers.

5.1. GPU Compatibility

The ASUS Prime AP201 is compatible with a wide range of graphics cards, including various ASUS Prime GeForce RTX 50 series models, provided their length does not exceed 338mm.
