Configuración e instalación

Your Ignis IGT 6100 IT washing machine is designed for freestanding installation. Follow these steps for proper setup.

1. Desembalaje

Carefully remove all packaging materials, including the polystyrene base and any protective film. Ensure all transport bolts are removed from the rear of the machine before use. Failure to remove these bolts can cause severe vibration and damage during operation.

2 Colocación

Place the washing machine on a firm, level floor. Adjust the leveling feet at the bottom of the machine to ensure it is stable and perfectly horizontal. This prevents excessive vibration and noise during operation. The appliance dimensions are approximately 40 cm (width) x 60 cm (depth) x 90 cm (height).

3. Conexión del suministro de agua

Connect the inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4" thread. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks. Do not use old hoses; always use the new hoses supplied with the appliance.

Position the drain hose into a standpipe or over the edge of a sink, ensuring it is securely fastened to prevent it from dislodging during the wash cycle. The drain hose should be positioned at a height between 60 cm and 100 cm from the floor.

Instrucciones de funcionamiento

1. Carga de la ropa

Open the top lid and the drum door. Load laundry into the drum, making sure not to overload the machine. The maximum capacity is 6 kg. Close the drum door and then the top lid securely.

2. Adición de detergente y aditivos

Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer. Add the appropriate amount of detergent to the main wash compartment and, if desired, fabric softener to its designated compartment. Refer to your detergent packaging for recommended dosages. Close the dispenser drawer.

3. Seleccionar un programa de lavado

Turn the program selector dial (rotary control) to choose the desired wash program based on the fabric type and soil level of your laundry. Use the buttons on the control panel to select additional options such as temperature, spin speed (up to 1000 rpm), or extra rinse, if available for the selected program.

Press the Start/Pause button to begin the wash cycle. The machine will automatically fill with water and start the selected program.

5. Pausing or Changing a Program

To pause a cycle, press the Start/Pause button. To change a program, first press the Start/Pause button, then turn the program selector to the new program. Press Start/Pause again to resume. Note that changing programs mid-cycle may not be possible or may require draining the water first.

6. Fin de ciclo

Once the wash cycle is complete, the machine will signal with an audible alert or indicator light. Open the top lid and drum door to remove your laundry. Unplug the machine from the power outlet and turn off the water tap after each use.

Mantenimiento

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your washing machine. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.

Locate the drain filter, usually at the bottom front of the machine. Place a shallow container underneath to catch any residual water. Unscrew the filter cover and carefully remove any lint, coins, or small objects. Clean the filter under running water and screw it back into place securely.

To prevent odors and maintain hygiene, run a maintenance wash cycle periodically. Use a specialized washing machine cleaner or a small amount of white vinegar with an empty drum on a hot wash program.
