2. Configuración

  1. Desembalaje del Brewer: Remove all packaging materials and place the brewer on a stable, level surface.
  2. Enjuague el depósito de agua: Wash the water reservoir and its lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Llene el depósito de agua: Fill the reservoir with fresh, filtered water up to the "MAX FILL" line. Place the lid back on the reservoir.
  4. Encendido: Plug the brewer into a grounded outlet. The power button will illuminate.

    • Lift and lower the brewer handle without inserting a K-Cup pod.
    • Select the largest brew size.
    • Press the brew button. This will dispense hot water to clean the internal components. Discard the hot water.

3. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

  1. Ensure Water Level: Check that the water reservoir has sufficient water for your desired brew size. Refill if necessary.
  2. Insertar cápsula K-Cup: Lift the brewer handle. Place a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup pod holder. Lower the handle completely to close the lid.
  3. Lugar Taza: Place a mug or cup on the drip tray.
  4. Seleccione el tamaño de la bebida: The control panel will display "READY TO BREW". Select your desired brew size using the illuminated buttons.
  5. Comience a preparar: Press the selected brew size button. The brewer will begin the brewing process.
  6. Disfrutar: Once brewing is complete, carefully remove your mug. Lift the handle to eject the used K-Cup pod into the discard bin.

Precaución: Do not remove the K-Cup pod holder during brewing. The K-Cup pod contains hot liquid and sharp needles.

4. Mantenimiento

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Keurig K140 brewer.

4.1. Limpieza de la bandeja de goteo

  • Rinse completely and dry before reattaching to the brewer.

4.3. Cleaning the K-Cup Pod Holder

  • Lift the brewer handle. Grasp the top of the K-Cup pod holder and pull it upwards to remove it.
  • Separate the funnel from the pod holder.
  • Wash both parts with warm, soapy water. Pay attention to the exit needle inside the pod holder.
  • Reassemble the pod holder and reinsert it into the brewer.

4.4. Descalcificar

Over time, calcium deposits (scale) can build up in your brewer. Descaling is important to maintain performance. Refer to the official Keurig website or your product's specific descaling instructions for the recommended procedure and descaling solution.
