Place the microwave oven on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in it. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the oven. Maintain a minimum of 3 inches (7.5 cm) of space on the top, sides, and rear of the oven for proper airflow. Do not block air vents.
