1. Introducción

This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of your Clarion DXZ 638 RMP car audio system. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the unit to ensure correct usage and to prevent damage.

3. Configuración inicial

3.1. Encendido inicial

After professional installation, turn on your vehicle's ignition. The unit should power on automatically or by pressing the FUERZA botón.

3.2. Puesta en hora del reloj

2. Navigate to "Time Settings" using the VOLUMEN/SELECCIONAR perilla.
3. Press the knob to select. Adjust hours and minutes using the knob, then press again to confirm each setting.

4. Instrucciones de funcionamiento

4.1. Controles básicos

• Encendido/apagado: Presione el FUERZA botón.
• Ajuste de volumen: Girar el VOLUMEN/SELECCIONAR perilla.
• Selección de fuente: Presione el Fuente de origen (Source) button repeatedly to cycle through available sources (Tuner, CD, AUX).

4.2. Operación de radio

1. Select "Tuner" as the source using the Fuente de origen botón.
2. Selección de banda: Presione el BANDA button to switch between FM1, FM2, FM3, and AM.
3. Sintonización manual: Presione el MELODÍA up/down buttons (or rotate the VOLUMEN/SELECCIONAR knob in tuning mode) to change frequency step-by-step.
4. Buscar sintonización: Mantenga pulsado el MELODÍA up/down buttons to automatically seek the next strong station.
5. Estaciones preestablecidas: Para guardar una emisora, sintonice la frecuencia deseada y mantenga presionado uno de los botones de presintonía (1-6) hasta que escuche un pitido. Para recuperarla, simplemente presione el botón de presintonía correspondiente.

4.3. Reproducción de CD/MP3

1. Cargando un CD: Inserte un CD en la ranura con la etiqueta hacia arriba. La unidad lo introducirá automáticamente y comenzará la reproducción.
2. Expulsar un CD: Presione el EXPULSAR botón.
3. Reproducir/Pausa: Presione el REPRODUCIR/PAUSA botón.

5. Folder Navigation (MP3/WMA): Utilice el CARPETA up/down buttons to navigate between folders on an MP3/WMA disc.

4.4. Ajustes de audio

Presione el AUDIO button to cycle through various audio settings such as Bass, Treble, Balance, and Fader. Use the VOLUMEN/SELECCIONAR knob to adjust the selected setting.

5. Mantenimiento

5.1. Limpieza de la unidad

• Limpie el panel frontal con un paño suave y seco.
• No utilice limpiadores abrasivos, ceras o disolventes.

5.2. Cuidado del CD

• Manipule los CD por los bordes para evitar huellas dactilares.
