Setting Up the Printer

1. Remove all protective materials.
2. Insert the output tray.
3. Open.
4. Press the ink supply unit tray, and then pull it out.
5. Shake the ink supply unit 10 times well. For the initial setup, make sure you use the ink supply units that came with this printer. Depending on your printer model, the included ink supply units may not be used as replacement ink supply units after initial setup. The initial ink supply units will be partly used to charge the print head. These ink supply units may print fewer pages compared to subsequent ink supply units.
6. Unpack.
7. Fit the ink supply unit into the ink supply unit tray.
8. Insert and close. Install all ink supply units as well.
9. Connect and plug in. Sambungkan, lalu pasang.
10. Turn on.
11. Select a language and time.
12. Wait until the charging is finished.
13. Pull out.
14. Pinch and slide the edge guides.
15. Load A4 size paper toward the back of the paper cassette with the printable side face down then slide the front edge guide to the paper.
    
17. Set the paper size and paper type for the paper cassette. You can change these settings later.
18. Select where the fax will be used, and then make fax settings. You can change these settings later. If you do not want to make settings now, close the fax settings screen.
19. Connect a phone cable.Connecting to PSTN or PBX Connecting to DSL or ISDN.
    • Available phone cable RJ-11 Phone Line / RJ-11 Telephone set connection.
      Depending on the area, a phone cable may be included with the printer, if so, use the cable.
20. If you want to share the same phone line as your telephone, remove the cap and then connect the telephone to the EXT. port.
21. Check the on-screen instructions, and then select [Approve]. Next, select where the printer will be used.
22. Connect your computer or smart device with the printer. Visit the website to install software and configure the network.
