Product Overview
The GEEKOM A Series Mini PC, model GEEKOM A5, is a compact and powerful computing solution designed for various applications. This guide provides instructions for hardware installation and important safety information.

Hardware Installation
1. M.2 SSD Installation
To install an M.2 SSD:
- Remove the bottom cover of the Mini PC.
- Locate the M.2 slot.
- Insert the M.2 SSD into the slot at an angle.
- Secure the SSD with the provided screw.
- Replace the bottom cover.
2. 1.2V DDR4 Memory Installation
To install DDR4 memory:
- Open the memory slot covers.
- Insert the DDR4 module into the slot at an angle.
- Press down on the module until the clips on both sides lock it in place.
3. VESA Mounting
To mount the Mini PC using a VESA mount:
- Attach the VESA bracket to the back of the monitor or wall mount.
- Align the Mini PC with the VESA bracket.
- Secure the Mini PC to the bracket using the provided screws.
Safety and Caution Information
General Safety:
- AC Power Adapter: Use only the provided AC adapter. Risk of electric shock, fire, or burns if an incorrect adapter is used. Use only indoors in dry locations. Do not open the enclosure. Connect only to a properly wired and grounded outlet. The adapter is rated for use between 0°C and 35°C (32°F and 95°F).
- Battery Safety: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type. Batteries should be recycled where possible. Dispose of used batteries according to local environmental regulations.
- Temperature: Intended for use in ambient temperatures between 0°C and 35°C (32°F and 95°F). Avoid use or storage near heat sources, in direct sunlight, or outside the intended temperature ranges.
- Medical Devices: This device may interfere with pacemakers, hearing aids, or other medical devices. Maintain a separation distance of 20 cm (8 inches) between the device and medical devices.
- Modifications: Unauthorized modifications to the wireless solution, thermal solution, device components, or enclosure will violate regulatory compliance and may create safety hazards.
FCC Compliance:
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
FCC Radiation Exposure Statement:
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body.
Ingestion Hazard (Button Cell Battery):
WARNING: This product contains a button cell battery. Ingestion can cause severe internal chemical burns in as little as 2 hours, leading to death or serious injury. Keep new and used batteries OUT OF REACH of CHILDREN. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted inside any part of the body. The compatible battery type is CR2032 with a nominal voltage of 3V. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above specified temperatures, or incinerate.
Connecting to a Network
Wireless Network Connection:
- Click the network icon in the Windows notification area.
- Select the desired network and input any required information (e.g., Wi-Fi password for secured networks).
