Before using your Keurig K-Compact coffee maker for the first time, it is recommended to perform an initial rinse and a cleansing brew cycle.

Follow these steps to brew a single cup of coffee or dispense hot water.
Brewing a K-Cup Pod
- Plenigu Akvan Rezervujon: Ensure the water reservoir is filled with fresh water. The 'Add Water' indicator will light up if the water level is low.

- Separate the funnel from the pod holder. Wash both parts with warm, soapy water.
- Ensure the exit needle is clear of any coffee grounds. A paper clip can be used to clear any blockages.

Over time, calcium deposits (scale) can build up in your brewer. Descaling helps maintain the brewer's performance. The frequency of descaling depends on the mineral content of your water. It is generally recommended every 3-6 months.
- Preparu Senkalkigan Solvaĵon: Empty the water reservoir and remove any K-Cup pod. Pour a full bottle of Keurig Descaling Solution into the water reservoir. Fill the empty bottle with water and pour it into the reservoir.
- First Descaling Brew: Place a large mug on the drip tray. Lift and lower the handle. Select the largest brew size. Discard the hot water. Repeat this process until the 'Add Water' light illuminates.
