Required Tools
- 10mm, 8mm, 7mm Socket/Wrench Pick Tool
EZX Installation

Recommended Harness Routing:

- STEP 1 – Disconnect negative terminal on the battery, this is to prevent getting trouble codes from disconnecting sensors.

- STEP 2 – Loosen the 10mm bolt holding down the engine cover and remove the oil fill cap. Then pull up and out towards the front of the vehicle. Temporarily replace the cap to prevent anything from going into the engine during install.

- STEP 3 – Disconnect the MAF (Mas Air Flow) Sensor from the intake box. Pull the red locking tab out then depress the release tab to disconnect the connector.

- STEP 4 – Loosen both hose clamps holding the intake elbow on with a 7mm socket and wrench. Remove intake elbow and set aside.

- WARNING: The MAP and MAF connectors appear identical. The harness will have labels for each connector location. In the case that these labels are not visible/present, the shorter harness will be for the MAF and the longer harness will be for MAP. Connecting these wrong will cause a check engine light and drivability issues.

- STEP 5 – Remove the 10mm bolt holding the coolant reservoir. This will allow more movement/working area behind the coolant reservoir.

- STEP 6 – Remove the reservoir off of the two studs holding it onto the firewall. This will give us access to the MAP sensor.

- STEP 7a – Please move onto step 7B if you have an LZ0 engine. If you have the LM2 engine with the refreshed interior, you will need to use the included MAP sensor adapters. Plug in the MAP sensor adapters to both ends of the EZX MAP harness.

- STEP 7b – Disconnect the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Sensor by sliding the grey locking tab out ward then depress that same locking tab to disconnect the harness from the sensor. Then connect the EZX harness into both ends. Route the MAP sensor underneath the coolant reservoir anvd reinstall the reservoir back into place.

- REMINDER: The MAP and MAF connectors are identical. Refer back to page 10 for more details.
- STEP 8 – Disconnect the FRP (Fuel Rail Pressure) Sensor by sliding the grey locking tab outward then depress that same locking tab to disconnect the harness from the sensor. Then connect the EZX harness into both ends.

- STEP 9 – Reassemble the intake elbow, engine air filter, and intake lid while making sure to route the EZX harness under the intake elbow. Connect both ends of the EZX harness to the MAF harness and MAF sensor.

- STEP 10 – Locate the ECM connector located in front of the intake box, then disconnect the harness. Connect the EZX ECM connection to both sides of the vehicle harness.

- Note: To disconnect the ECM connector, pull the red locking tab up. Then, locate the release tab on the bottom corner of the connector. Once depressed, the connector can slide upward towards the red locking tab. The connector should pull apart.

- STEP 11 – Connect the EZX module to the harness and route the rest of the EZX harness around the intake box. Secure the harness and module using the provided zip-ties as seen in the image below.

- STEP 12 – Reconnect the negative terminal on the battery.
