Connect the probe to the Omniport before starting. Do not alternate between process probes and hand-held probes on an active device, otherwise the probes will no longer be recognised.

Power supply

▪ 4x AA rechargeable NiMH batteries (included in the scope of supply)
▪ 4x AA non-rechargeable batteries
▪ Extern 5 V DC via USB C (Power supply unit or PC-USB connection)

Connection to the PC
To transfer the logged data or advanced settings, the device can be connected to the PC via the USB-C connection cable (includedin the scope of supply).
Ensure that the correct USB mode is set:

USB Mode Settings

.COM mode Used for data aquistion.
Needed for advanced setting with PCS10 Product Configuration Software.
Free download from www.epluse.com/pcs10.
Mass storage Enables easy download of csv files with logged data.
No software is required.

Batteries are charged via USB in both modes.

The following issues must be observed for accurate measurements.
Use the device under the climatic conditions specified in this document:
▪ Operation: -5…+50 °C (+23…+122 °F), 0…85 %RH non-condensing
▪ Storage: -25…+65 °C (-12…+149 °F) (without rechargeable battery)
Do not use the device in places with:
▪ Rapid ambient temperature variations that may cause condensation.
▪ Direct vibrations / shocks to the device.
▪ High-intensity electromagnetic fields or static electricity.

NOTICE
▪ Due to the integrated magnet, a safe distance must be kept from devices that can be damaged by magnetism.
▪ Remove batteries to prevent leakage if the device is stored at a temperature above 50 °C (122 °F) or not used for an extended period of time.

warning - 1 DANGER
▪ Due to the integrated magnet, a minimum distance of 20 cm (7.9″) must be maintained between a pacemaker and the hand-held meter
▪ Do not short-circuit.
▪ Do not expose the batteries to high temperature.
▪ Do not throw the batteries into fire.
