Q: What is the maximum SD card capacity supported by the camera?

A: The camera supports SD cards with a capacity of up to 64GB.

Q: How can I activate night vision mode?

A: The device automatically switches to night vision mode when it detects low light conditions.

Q: Can I change the device’s name in the app?

A: Yes, you can change the device’s name in the app settings after pairing it with your Wi-Fi network.

Insert the outdoor unit with the camera in it, with the plug that must be connected to the screen, through a hole in a door. The diameter of this hole in the door must be at least 14 mm and at most 28 mm.
The outdoor unit must be attached to a mounting plate with 1 screw. Make sure that the arrow on the mounting plate points upwards and that the push button on the outdoor unit is at the bottom.
Four screws with different lengths of 30, 50, 70 and 90 mm are supplied. Choose the correct screw based on the thickness of the door. The door must be at least 35 mm and at most 120 mm thick.
Insert the plug into the back of the screen.
Slide the screen from top to bottom onto the mounting plate.
1. On/Off Switch: On the right side of the screen, next to the USB-C port for the charger, there is also an on/off switch to turn off the screen completely.
2. Charging: The built-in, non-removable 3500mAh rechargeable battery can be charged with the supplied USB-C cable and a 5V char-ger from a smartphone. To charge the battery in the screen, the screen can be easily removed from the door by sliding the screen up and disconnecting the plug from the camera.
3. Answer / look through camera: Press the middle button with the figure on the screen to answer a call or to be able to look through the camera, without having to ring the doorbell first.
4. Ring the doorbell: There is a push button on the outdoor unit that allows visitors to ring the doorbell.

Connect your smartphone to your own 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network
Select in the app:
‘Add Device’ or ‘+’ and ‘Add Device’
Select ‘Camera & Lock’ & “Smart Doorbell’
Turn on ‘QR Code for Camera’ at the top right
Turn on the door viewer
Press the reset button for 8 seconds, this is the leftmost button on the screen. You will hear: System Reset. And then: camera is ready to begin pairing.
Press ‘Next’ 4 times
Enter your own Wi-Fi password
Let the camera scan the QR code by pointing the camera at the QR code
Wait until the camera says:
‘Accept success, please wait’
Press in the app: Blue button ‘Hear tone’
Change the name if necessary & press ‘Continue’

The screen has no menu of its own. All settings and reviewing recordings must be done via the app.
The following can be set in the app:
- Screenshot: take a photo of the camera image
- Record: make a video of the camera image
- Speak: talk through the speaker in the camera unit on the outside of the door
- Photo album: view the photos taken
- Playback: view the recorded videos
- HD/SD: switch between HD and SD image quality
- Working mode: choose the battery saving mode
- PIR switch: turn the motion detector off, or on to a low, medium or high sensitivity
- Turn the time and date display on the top left of the screen off or on
- Audio mode: set the audio mode to one-way or two-way audio
- Anti-flicker: turn the anti-flicker function off or on 50 or 60 Hz
It is not possible to set different ringtones and the volume of the ringtone from the screen.
It is not possible to talk back and forth with the caller via the screen, this is only possible via the app.
It is possible to add an extra DS6603 WiFi gong to this door viewer by setting a smart scenario in the app so that an extra gong can be heard else-where in the house (where there is WiFi). See the explanation video on the Doorsafe website for this.
