Installation:

Know about the Finger Robot

The Finger Robot is for changing the traditional buttons and switches to be smart:

Before device setting, the Smart Life app should be installed and registered a account first(Smart Life can be searched in APP Store or Google Play).

Power on the device

Open the cover and remove the insulation sheet, then close it

Connect this device

Press the connect button for 5 seconds, till the LED blink.

There are two connect methods:

1. With gateway:
   Open “Smart Life” app, Enter into gateway page and click “Search new device” and follow the in-a pp instructions to connect this device to gateway.
   In this way,it can be controlled remotely and share with more users.
2. Without Gateway:
   At the top right corner of Smart Life, click “+” and select “Add Device”, it could be discovered automatically, then follow the in-a pp instructions to connect this device to your mobile phone.
   In this way, it only can be controlled in local network by one user
   Waiting for a few seconds, This device is added successfully and you may rename it. Click “Done” to finish the setting.

Install the device

1. lnsert the finger to the device according to your need. (A/B:for button, ;C for switch).
   Note: For finger C, you still need paste on a smaller double sides sticker to connect the switch.
2. Stick the device to the surface where you need to place with the larger 3M double sides adhesive tape

Setting in APP

After installation is finished, open “smart life” app and click the device, then click “Setting” panel to enter into the setting page.

1. Mode setting
   A. Button mode Click “Mode” and select Button when the device which you want to control is a button(as below).
2. B.Switch mode
   1. Click “Mode” and select Switch when the device which you want to control is a switch(as below).
   2. Up movement setting
      Adjust top place where the finger reaches.
   3. Down movement setting
      Adjust bottom place where the finger reaches.
   4. Switching display status setting
      Click “Switching display status” can change the on/off display status according to the actual situation of the button/switch.

Use the device

1. You may use this device through “smartlife” app to control” on/off”.
2. User can use this device by the physical button.

Use this device by Voice (Alexa/Google Assistant)

Connect the Finger Robot to third-party voice assistants such as Google Home and Amazon Echo for more convenient experience. Open Smart Life app and enter the device page, click the top right corner button to enter into setting page, click the Alex or Google Assistant icon under Third-party Control to open the guide for how to connect the Finger Robot to Amazon Echo or Google home.

When the connecting is complete, the Finger Robot can be controlled with below fixed phrase:

1. Controlling through Alexa
   • “Alexa,open <device name>”
   • “Alexa,close <device name>”
   • “Alexa, is <device name> open?”
   • “Alexa,set <device name> to click”
   • “Alexa,set <device name> to keep”
   • “Alexa, what is the mode on <device name>?”
   • “Alexa, what is battery on <device name>”
2. Controlling through Google Assistant
   • “Ok Google, Turn on <device name>”
   • “Ok Google, Turn off <device name>”
   • “OK Google, is <device name> on?”
   • “OK Google, set <device name> to click”
   • “OK Google, set <device name> to keep”
   • “OK, Google, What is the <device name> battery level?”
