Installation Instructions
- Pass the Loop End Wire Attachment through the opening of the D-Clip.
- Select and install an appropriately sized anchor through the D-Clip into the base material following safety instructions.

Wire Component
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The D-Clip Wire Component is a one piece clip that is used to fasten TOUGHWIRE™ to the mounting surface. Can be mounted on flat or sloped surfaces. TOUGHWIRE™ Loop End Wire Assembly products (sold separately) are looped through the D-Clip, then anchored to the structure with a variety of DEWALT® Anchors and Fasteners (sold separately).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Pass the Loop End Wire Attachment through the opening of the D-Clip.
- Note: A loop created with a TOUGHLOCK™ device may also be used.
- Note: Must follow safety instructions for tools.
Step 2
Select and install an appropriately sized anchor through the D-Clip into the base material to the required minimum embedment.
- Note: The two sides of the D-Clip should be compressed together when the anchor is fully installed.

1. Tabulated load values are for anchors installed in uncracked concrete. Concrete compressive strength must be at taminimum at the time of installation. 2. In unshaded cells, the capacity of the wire rope controls the failure in the assembly. 3. In shaded cells, the capacity of the anchor in concrete controls the failure in the assembly. 4. Allowable capacities are based on a safety factor of 4.0. 5. The minimum base material thickness should be 3-1/2 inches. 6. Tabulated data is based on a minimum spacing distance of 2-3/4 inches for 1/4″ and 5/16″ diameter anchors and a minimum spacing distance of 4 inches for 3/8″ diameter anchors. 7. Tabulated data is based on a minimum edge distance of 3-1/2 inches. 8. Nominal anchor length must exceed the minimum embedment depth + 1/4 inch. |
