CHOOSING A CUSTOM ON/OFF TIME

  • Press the My On Time button (6) and then use the Up (5) and Down (4) arrow buttons to set the time you want the timer to turn On. The blue light next to My On Time (6) should turn on, indicating that the On time is set and activated.

USING A PRE-SET ON/OFF TIME

There are three pre-programmed times on this timer that run individually or simultaneously:

  • Press the Evening button (8) if you want the timer to turn on at 5:00 pm and off at 12:00 am.
  • Press the Morning button (9) if you want the timer to turn on at 5:00 am and off at 8:00 am.
  • Press the All Night button (10) if you want the timer to turn on at 6:00 pm and off at 6:00 am.

Ensure that the blue LED indicator light is illuminated next to the pre-programmed time you have chosen. This indicates that the timer is active and will function properly at your chosen On/Off times.DEFIANT-31072-Indoor-Easy-Set-Plug-In-Timer-fig-4

COMBINING CUSTOM AND PRE-SET ON/OFF TIME

If a preset schedule does not fit your needs, a custom on/off time can be used to modify one of the three preset times. For example, if you press the Evening button (8) to activate the timer to turn on at 5:00 pm and off at 12:00 am and then program a My Off Time (7) of 10:00 pm, this creates a 5:00 pm-10:00 pm timer schedule.

USING THE COUNTDOWN FEATURE

  • Press the Countdown button (11) then use the Up (5) and Down (4) arrows to set the countdown timer from 1 minute to 24 hours.
  • The Countdown blue LED will illuminate indicating that the Countdown feature is active. When the Countdown feature is active, the timer immediately turns on and operates until the determined countdown time expires.
  • The last countdown time set will become the new default until you change the countdown time.DEFIANT-31072-Indoor-Easy-Set-Plug-In-Timer-fig-5
