All Rights Reserved LQH012CLEDXXX 00 0422 QUICK START GUIDE ULTIMA 12 CLASSIC LASERCOMB Hair Growth Laser Light Device ENGLISH QUICK START GUIDE Ultima 12 Classic LaserComb 8 minutes 3 times per week FOR MAXIMUM BENEFIT :: Scalp should be freshly washed (hair can be wet, dry or damp) :: Use the laser device prior to applying styling products (these can build up and impede the laser light) :: Regularly clean the device with a lint-free cloth. Lightly wipe the surfaces with 70% Isopropyl alcohol for 2 minutes, allowing it to dry before starting the treatment. Do not use harsh detergents or cleaning products on any part of the device. CHARGING OPTIONS You must charge the device for 2-3 hours before initial use. OPTION 1 Charge the laser device using the charging stand and power cord. Prior to charging the laser device, make sure the device is turned off and the teeth are facing away from you. Plug the power cord into the charging cradle/stand and the other end into an electrical wall outlet. OPTION 2 Charge the laser device by placing the power cord directly into the laser device and the other end into an electrical wall outlet. The indicator light on the power button will flash during the charging process. Once charging is complete, the light will stop flashing. NOTE Do not use the LaserComb while charging. Turn on the laser device by pressing the power button (lower button) and hold until the power button light turns on. Next, press the laser button (upper button) until it lights up. That means the device is ready for use. If the laser device needs to be recharged during your treatment, allow it to fully charge before continuing. Prior to treatment, test your skin for sensitivity by shining the light on the inside of your forearm for 2 minutes. If you see any reaction, do not use your LaserComb and contact customer service. TREATMENT METHOD To start your treatment, place the laser device flat on your scalp so that both rows of teeth are touching the scalp. Start at your hairline. Move the laser device from front to back of the scalp in a slow combing motion, pausing every 1/2 inch (1 cm) for 4 seconds. Do not lift the device off your scalp while combing from front to back. Next, lift the laser device off your scalp and start at a new position at the hair line. Continue in this manner from front to back, and then side to side until you cover your entire scalp with multiple passes. When the device is on it will beep and vibrate every four (4) seconds. This means that it is time to move it to the next area of the scalp. Repeat these passes for the total treatment time of 8 minutes. After treatment, turn off the device by pressing and holding the power button (lower button) until the indicator light turns off. Store the device in the charging cradle for future use. You may leave the power cord plugged into the charging cradle at all times. NOTE: The Ultima 12 Classic LaserComb will turn off automatically after 12 minutes. Based on the durability of the lasers, electronic components and charging cradle, the laser device is designed to last for 5 years of regular use. Items that are damaged or abused are not covered under the warranty and will be charged at their regular repair rates.
