5. Einrichtung
5.1. Unpacking and Initial Activation
- Carefully remove the CO detector and base station from the packaging.
- Remove the battery insulation film from the CO detector to activate it. The detector will beep once, and the digital display will show '0 ppm'.
- Plug the SBS50 Base Station into a standard wall outlet using the provided USB-C cable and power adapter. The X-Sense logo on the base station will light up.
5.2. App-Installation und Gerätekopplung
- Download the 'X-Sense Home Security' app from the App Store or Google Play.

The CO detector can be wall-mounted or placed on a flat surface. For optimal detection, consider the following:
- Wandmontage: Choose a location approximately 1.5 meters (5 feet) from the floor, away from direct sunlight, vents, or areas with high airflow. Use the provided screws and anchors to secure the mounting bracket, then attach the detector.

6. Bedienungsanleitung
6.1. Normalbetrieb
In normal operation, the digital display will show '0 ppm'. The LED indicator on the detector will flash briefly every 60 seconds to indicate it is functioning correctly.
6.2. Testen des Alarms
Press and hold the 'TEST/SILENCE' button on the detector for a few seconds. The alarm will sound, and the LED will flash. This confirms the alarm and its electronics are working. The base station will also indicate the test.
6.3. Kohlenmonoxid-Alarm
If carbon monoxide is detected at dangerous levels, the alarm will sound with a loud siren, and the LED will flash rapidly. The digital display will show the detected CO concentration. The base station will also alert you, and notifications will be sent to your paired app.

6.4. Peak Value Memory

7.1. Reinigung Ihres Detektors

7.2. Batteriewechsel
When the battery is low, the detector will chirp and the display will show 'Lb' (Low Battery). Replace the battery immediately with the specified type (Lithium Metal, non-standard). Refer to the detector's compartment for specific battery model information.
7.3. Indikation für das Lebensende
After approximately 10 years of operation, the detector will indicate its end of life by displaying 'END' on the screen and chirping periodically. At this point, the entire unit must be replaced.
