4.2 Tank Inflation

The 0.5L scuba tank can be inflated using one of three methods. Charging tools are sold separately.

  • Supplementary Adapter: Connect the tank to a larger scuba tank using a supplementary adapter. This method is typically fast (approx. 10 seconds).
  • Air Compressor: Use a high-pressure air compressor designed for scuba tanks. Inflation time is approximately 10 minutes.
  • Manual High-Pressure Pump: Inflate the tank using a manual high-pressure pump. This method requires significant effort (400-600 strokes) and is suitable for situations where other options are unavailable.

Always ensure the tank is filled to a maximum pressure of 20MPa. Do not overfill.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1 Pre-Dive Checks

  • Verify the tank pressure is at 20MPa.
  • Prüfen Sie alle Verbindungen auf Dichtheit.
  • Ensure the mask fits snugly and creates a proper seal on your face.
  • Test the regulator by taking a few breaths from the tank before entering the water.

5.2 Underwater Breathing

Once underwater, activate the scuba tank by opening the valve. Breathe slowly and deeply. The mask's one-way exhalation system helps prevent CO2 buildup.

  • Dauer: The 0.5L tank provides approximately 5-10 minutes of air. Monitor your air gauge frequently.
  • Tiefe: Do not exceed 98.43 ft (30m) when using the tank. For snorkel tube use, limit depth to 32.81 ft (10m).
  • Aufstieg: Always ascend slowly, exhaling continuously, to avoid lung overexpansion injuries.

6. Wartung und Lagerung

6.1 Nach jeder Verwendung

  • Rinse all components thoroughly with fresh water to remove salt, sand, and chlorine.
  • Pay special attention to the regulator and mask, ensuring no debris is lodged in the breathing mechanisms.
  • Allow all parts to air dry completely in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct sunlight.

6.2 Regelmäßige Inspektion

  • Inspect the tank for any signs of corrosion, dents, or damage.
  • Check the mask for cracks, tears in the silicone, or damage to the lens.
  • Ensure all O-rings and seals are in good condition and replace if worn or damaged.
  • The food-grade silicone mouthpiece is designed to be crack-resistant, but inspect it for any signs of wear.

6.3 Speicherung

  • Store the scuba tank in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Store the tank with a small amount of pressure (approx. 100-200 PSI) to prevent moisture ingress.
  • Keep the mask and other components in the provided carry bag to protect them from dust and damage.

7. Fehlerbehebung

In diesem Abschnitt werden häufig auftretende Probleme behandelt.

  • Mask Fogging: Ensure the mask is clean. Apply an anti-fog solution before use. The mask features a unique air circulation design to minimize fogging; ensure proper exhalation.
  • Water Leaking into Mask: Re-adjust the mask straps for a tighter seal. Ensure no hair or foreign objects are caught under the skirt. Check the silicone skirt for tears or damage.
  • Atembeschwerden: Check the tank pressure. Ensure the regulator is fully open and free of obstructions. If using snorkel tubes, ensure they are clear of water.
  • Tank Not Holding Pressure: Check all O-rings and connections for proper seating and damage. Ensure the tank valve is fully closed after filling. If the issue persists, seek professional inspection.
