Einrichtung und Montage

1. Komponenten auspacken: Remove the collapsible squeeze bottle, filter, and backwash syringe from the packaging.
2. Filter anhängen: Unscrew the cap from the squeeze bottle. Insert the filter into the cap and twist to secure it. The filter is designed to thread onto the outside of the flask.
3. Erstes Spülen: Before first use, fill the bottle with water and squeeze it through the filter to prime it. Discard the first few squeezes of water.

Wartung und Reinigung

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your LifeStraw filter.

1. Backwash the Filter: After each use or if flow rate decreases, backwash the filter using the included backwash syringe.
   • Unscrew the filter from the bottle.
   • Fill the backwash syringe with clean water.
   • Attach the syringe to the bottom of the filter (the end that connects to the bottle).
   • Push the plunger to force water back through the filter, dislodging trapped particles. Repeat until water runs clear.
2. Flasche reinigen: The collapsible bottle can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Ensure it is thoroughly rinsed and air-dried before storage.
3. Langzeitlagerung: For extended storage, ensure the filter is completely dry to prevent mold or bacterial growth. Store in a cool, dry place.
