4. Einrichtung

4.1. Laden des Akkus

Your NXGKET Walkie Talkies come with built-in 1800mAh Li-ion batteries. These batteries are not removable and do not require installation. Before first use, fully charge all walkie talkies.

1. Connect one end of the 2-in-1 USB-C cable to the USB-C charging port on the side of the walkie talkie.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to the charger. The charger can accommodate two USB-C cables simultaneously, allowing you to charge two walkie talkies at once.

4. The battery indicator on the LCD display will show charging status. Once fully charged, the indicator will typically show a full battery icon.

4.2. Ein-/Ausschalten

To power on or off your walkie talkie, rotate the Lautstärke / Power-Knopf clockwise to turn on and counter-clockwise until it clicks to turn off.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1. Kanalauswahl

Your walkie talkies operate on 22 FRS channels. To communicate with another walkie talkie, both units must be set to the same channel and privacy code.

1. Bei eingeschaltetem Walkie-Talkie die Taste drücken Speisekarte button. The channel number on the LCD display will begin to flash.
2. Verwenden Sie die Up or Runter Tasten zur Auswahl des gewünschten Kanals (1-22).
3. Drücken Sie die Speisekarte button again to confirm the channel selection or wait a few seconds for it to automatically set.

5.2. Datenschutzbestimmungen (CTCSS/DCS)

Privacy codes (CTCSS/DCS) help reduce interference from other users on the same channel by filtering out transmissions that do not use the same code. Your walkie talkies support 121 privacy codes.

1. Drücken Sie die Speisekarte button twice. The privacy code number will begin to flash.
2. Verwenden Sie die Up or Runter buttons to select your desired privacy code (0-121). Code 0 means no privacy code is active.

5.3. Senden und Empfangen

5.4. Lautstärkeregelung

Drehen Sie den Lautstärke / Power-Knopf to adjust the listening volume. Clockwise increases volume, counter-clockwise decreases volume.

5.5. VOX/iVOX Function (Voice-Activated Transmission)

The VOX (Voice Operated eXchange) or iVOX function allows for hands-free communication. When activated, the radio transmits automatically when it detects your voice, without needing to press the PTT button. There are 9 levels of VOX sensitivity.

5.6. NOAA-Wetterwarnungen

Your walkie talkie supports NOAA's National Weather Service, allowing it to scan 10 NOAA radio channels for weather alerts in your area. This feature is crucial for staying informed about severe weather conditions.

5.7. Tastatursperre

To prevent accidental changes to your settings, you can lock the keypad. Press and hold the Lock / NOAA button until a key icon appears on the LCD display. Repeat the process to unlock the keypad.

5.8. Eingebaute Taschenlampe

Um die eingebaute LED-Taschenlampe zu aktivieren, drücken Sie die Taschenlampentaste. Press it again to turn off the flashlight.

5.9. Scan-Funktion

The auto scan feature allows you to quickly find active channels. Press the Scan / Monitor button to initiate scanning. The radio will cycle through channels and stop on an active one. Press the button again to stop scanning.

5.10. Rufton

You can send an audible call alert to other radios on the same channel. Press the Anruftontaste to transmit a distinct tone, signaling to others that you wish to communicate.
