4. Aufbau und Montage

Follow these steps to assemble your Primaster PMAT 40V Cordless Trimmer before first use.

  1. Attach Safety Guard: Securely attach the safety guard to the cutting head assembly. Ensure it is firmly in place to protect against flying debris.
  2. Hilfsgriff einstellen: Loosen the adjustment knob on the auxiliary handle and position it for comfortable and balanced operation. Tighten the knob securely.
  3. Adjust Telescopic Shaft: Extend or retract the telescopic shaft to achieve the desired working height. Lock the shaft in position.
  4. Batterie einlegen: Ensure the trimmer is switched off. Insert a fully charged Primaster 40V battery (sold separately) into the battery compartment until it clicks into place.

  1. Starten des Trimmers:
    • Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Akku vollständig geladen und richtig eingelegt ist.
    • Halten Sie den Trimmer mit beiden Händen fest.
    • Drücken Sie den Sicherheitsverriegelungsknopf (falls vorhanden) und betätigen Sie anschließend den Auslöseschalter, um den Motor zu starten.
  2. Trimmtechnik:
    • Move the trimmer slowly and steadily across the area to be cut.
    • Verwenden Sie eine ausholende Bewegung von rechts nach links, um Schmutz optimal abzulenken.
    • Avoid hitting hard objects, as this can damage the cutting line or the trimmer.
  3. Automatic Line Extension: The trimmer features an automatic line extension system. If the line becomes too short, lightly tap the cutting head on the ground while the motor is running to feed out more line. The line cutter on the guard will trim it to the correct length.
  4. Edge Trimming (90° Rotating Head):
    • To trim edges vertically, rotate the cutting head 90 degrees.
    • Utilize the integrated edge roller for stable and precise cutting along paths, driveways, or flowerbeds.

6. Wartung

  • Reinigung: After each use, clean the trimmer thoroughly. Remove grass clippings and debris from the cutting head, safety guard, and motor housing. Use a damp cloth; do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
  • Leitungsersatz: When the cutting line on the spool is depleted, replace it with a new spool of 1.6 mm diameter line. Refer to Figure 3.2 for spool orientation.
  • Lagerung: Store the trimmer in a dry, secure place, out of reach of children. Remove the battery before storage.
  • Inspektion: Periodically inspect the trimmer for any signs of damage, loose screws, or worn parts. Do not use a damaged trimmer.
