4. Einrichtung und Installation

4.1 Montage des Trollingmotors

  1. Montageort wählen: Select a flat, stable area on the bow of your boat. Ensure there is sufficient clearance for deploying and stowing the motor, and that the shaft can be fully submerged without hitting the boat hull.

4.2 Elektrischer Anschluss

  1. Batterieanforderungen: Connect the trolling motor to a 12V deep cycle marine battery. A minimum of 105AH is recommended for optimal performance and run time.
  2. Verdrahtung: Connect the positive (+) lead from the motor to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the negative (-) lead to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure connections are tight and corrosion-free.
  3. Sicherung: It is highly recommended to install an appropriate circuit breaker (not included) between the motor and the battery to protect against electrical overloads.

4.3 Einstellen der Tiefe

The motor features an adjustable depth collar on the 54-inch cast alloy aluminum shaft. Loosen the depth collar adjustment knob, slide the motor shaft up or down to achieve the desired propeller depth, and then securely tighten the knob. The propeller should be submerged sufficiently to avoid cavitation but not so deep as to hit the bottom in shallow waters.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1 Ausfahren und Verstauen des Motors

To deploy the motor, release the stow/deploy pedal or lever and gently lower the motor into the water. To stow, lift the motor out of the water and secure it in the stowed position using the pedal/lever and any locking mechanisms.

5.2 Verwendung der drahtlosen Fernbedienung

The included wireless remote control allows for convenient operation from anywhere on the boat within a 164 ft range. Ensure the remote is paired with the motor before use.

6. Wartung
