Installationsanweisungen
1. Akku laden und installieren
- Laden Sie den Akku auf: Connect the 4.0Ah battery pack to the provided fast charger. The charging time is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours for a full charge. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
- Installieren Sie die Batterie: Align the battery pack with the battery slot on the chainsaw handle. Slide the battery into place until it clicks securely. Ensure it is firmly seated.
- Entfernen Sie die Batterie: Press the battery release button (if present) and slide the battery pack out of the tool.
2. Guide Bar and Chain Installation/Adjustment
The SORAKO chainsaw features a tool-less tensioning system for convenience.
Bild: A hand adjusting the tool-less tensioning knob on the side of the chainsaw, indicating how to quickly and easily adjust chain tension.
- Sicherheit gewährleisten: Always remove the battery pack before installing or adjusting the guide bar and chain.
- Montage von Schiene und Kette: Follow the specific instructions in your chainsaw's detailed manual for correct guide bar and chain placement. Ensure the chain direction is correct.
- Kettenspannung einstellen: Use the tool-less tensioning knob (as shown in the image) to adjust the chain tension. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still able to be pulled freely by hand. A properly tensioned chain will not sag on the underside of the guide bar and can be pulled up slightly (about 2-3mm) at the center of the bar.
- Spannung prüfen: After initial cuts, the chain may stretch. Recheck and adjust tension as needed.
3. Filling the Automatic Oiling System
The SORAKO chainsaw features an automatic oiling system to lubricate the guide bar and chain.
Bild: A hand pouring lubricating oil into the oil reservoir of the chainsaw, demonstrating the auto oiling system refill process.
- Use Proper Oil: Use only high-quality bar and chain oil. Do not use waste oil or thin oils.
- Behälter füllen: Unscrew the oil cap and carefully pour bar and chain oil into the reservoir until it reaches the maximum fill line. Avoid overfilling.
- Sicherer Verschluss: Replace the oil cap and tighten it securely to prevent leaks.
- Prime-System: Before first use, or after refilling, run the chainsaw for 1-3 minutes without cutting to allow the automatic oiling system to fully lubricate the chain and guide bar.
- Monitor Oil Level: Regularly check the oil level during operation and refill as necessary.
Bedienungsanleitung
1. Starten der Kettensäge
Bild: A person holding the chainsaw, demonstrating the ease of starting by pressing the trigger switch without a pull cord.
- Sicherheit gewährleisten: Confirm the chain brake is disengaged (pulled back towards the front handle).
- Griff: Halten Sie die Kettensäge mit beiden Händen fest, eine Hand am vorderen Griff und die andere am hinteren Griff.
- Start: Press the lock-off lever with your thumb, then squeeze the trigger switch to start the chainsaw. The chain will begin to move.
- Stop: Release the trigger switch to stop the chainsaw. Engage the chain brake for added safety when not actively cutting.
2. Schneidtechniken
Always plan your cut before starting. Be aware of falling branches and kickback zones.

- Stabile Haltung: Maintain a balanced and stable stance.
- Vollgas: Allow the chain to reach full operating speed before engaging the wood.
- Schnittrichtung: Cut with the bottom of the guide bar (pulling chain) for better control and to reduce kickback risk.
- Avoid Tip: Never cut with the tip of the guide bar, as this is the primary kickback zone.
- Kleine Schnitte: For larger branches or logs, make several smaller cuts rather than one deep cut.
- Schutt beseitigen: Stop the chainsaw and remove the battery before clearing any sawdust or debris.
3. Sicherheitsfunktionen
Bild: A close-up of the chain brake/hand guard, illustrating its function in stopping the chain upon impact or activation.
- Doppeltes Schutzdesign: The chainsaw incorporates a safety lock and a brake disc for enhanced user safety.
- Sicherheitsschloss: Prevents unintentional starting. Always engage the safety lock when the chainsaw is not in use.
- Kettenbremse: The mechanical chain brake is designed to stop the chain instantly in the event of kickback or if manually engaged by pushing the hand guard forward. Regularly test the chain brake for proper function.
Wartung
Regelmäßige Wartung gewährleistet die Langlebigkeit und den sicheren Betrieb Ihrer Kettensäge.
- Reinigung: After each use, remove the battery and clean the chainsaw thoroughly. Use a brush or compressed air to remove sawdust, chips, and debris from the motor housing, guide bar groove, and chain.
- Kettenschärfen: A sharp chain is essential for efficient and safe cutting. Sharpen the chain regularly according to the manufacturer's specifications for file size and angle. A dull chain will cause the saw to work harder, produce fine sawdust instead of chips, and increase the risk of kickback.
- Wartung der Führungsschiene: Clean the guide bar groove to ensure proper oil flow. Flip the guide bar periodically to ensure even wear. Check for burrs on the guide bar rails and file sie glatt streichen, falls vorhanden.
- Oil System Check: Ensure the automatic oiling system is functioning correctly. Check for blockages in the oil outlet.
- Batteriepflege: Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not store fully discharged.
- Lagerung: When not in use, store the chainsaw in a dry, secure location out of reach of children. Ensure the chain brake is engaged and the battery is removed. Use a guide bar cover to protect the chain.
