4. Montage und Einrichtung
Before first use, some assembly may be required. Follow these general steps:
- Auspacken: Nehmen Sie alle Komponenten vorsichtig aus der Verpackung. Prüfen Sie, ob sie während des Transports beschädigt wurden.
- Radmontage: Attach the wheels to the main unit as per the diagrams in the included manual. Ensure they are securely fastened for stability and easy transport.
- Sammelbox: Position the 60 L collection box correctly under the discharge chute. The shredder will not operate unless the collection box is properly seated and secured, engaging the safety interlock.
- Stromanschluss: Connect the shredder to a suitable outdoor-rated power outlet. Ensure the power cord is free from damage and positioned to avoid tripping hazards.

5. Bedienung
Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your Scheppach GS60 shredder:
- Vorbereitung: Ensure the shredder is on a firm, level surface. Wear all recommended PPE.
- Starten des Aktenvernichters: Press the green 'ON' button on the control panel. The motor should start.
- Futtermaterial: Gradually feed branches and garden waste into the feed chute. Allow the machine to pull the material through. Do not force material into the chute.
- Materialart: The shredder is suitable for branches up to 45mm in diameter and leafy material. Avoid feeding stones, metal, plastic, or other non-organic materials.

6. Wartung und Reinigung
