2. Sicherheitshinweise

Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the pump:

  • Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Netzteil mit der Lautstärke übereinstimmttage, wie auf dem Typenschild der Pumpe angegeben.
  • Always disconnect the pump from the power supply before performing any maintenance, cleaning, or when not in use.
  • Do not operate the pump if the power cable or plug is damaged. Contact qualified personnel for repair.
  • Heben oder tragen Sie die Pumpe niemals am Netzkabel. Benutzen Sie den integrierten Griff.
  • The pump is designed for dirty water. Do not use it for flammable, corrosive, or explosive liquids.
  • Halten Sie Kinder und Unbefugte von der in Betrieb befindlichen Pumpe fern.

3. Packungsinhalt

Prüfen Sie nach dem Auspacken, ob alle Komponenten vorhanden und unbeschädigt sind:

  • Altech 101279230 Submersible Pump
  • Integrated Float Switch
  • 10-meter Power Cable with Standard Plug (Schuko)
  • Discharge Hose Adapter (elbow connector)

4. Einrichtung

  1. Platzierung: Position the pump on a stable, level surface in the area to be drained. Ensure the pump's intake is clear of large debris that could obstruct it.
  2. Schlauchanschluss: Attach a suitable discharge hose to the pump's outlet connector. Secure the hose with a clamp if necessary to prevent leaks. Ensure the hose is routed away from the pumping area to a suitable discharge point.
  3. Einstellung des Schwimmerschalters: The float switch controls the pump's automatic on/off cycles based on water level. Adjust the cable length of the float switch to set the desired minimum and maximum water levels for operation. Ensure the float switch can move freely without obstruction.
  4. Stromanschluss: Once the pump is positioned and the hose is connected, plug the 10-meter power cable into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is protected by a residual current device (RCD) for safety.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

The Altech 101279230 pump operates in automatic mode, controlled by its integrated float switch.

  • Automatische Operation: Once plugged in and submerged, the pump will automatically start when the water level rises and lifts the float switch to its 'on' position. It will continue to pump until the water level drops, causing the float switch to fall to its 'off' position.
  • Überwachung: Periodically check the pump's operation to ensure it is functioning correctly and that the discharge hose is not blocked or kinked.
  • Trockenlaufschutz: The automatic operation via the float switch helps prevent dry running. However, always ensure the pump is adequately submerged during operation.

6. Wartung

Regelmäßige Wartung gewährleistet die Langlebigkeit und optimale Leistung Ihrer Pumpe.

  1. Cleaning the Intake: Disconnect the pump from the power supply. Regularly inspect and clean the pump's intake screen to remove any accumulated debris (leaves, mud, small stones) that could impede water flow or damage the impeller.
  2. Housing and Cable Inspection: Periodically check the pump housing and power cable for any signs of damage, cracks, or wear. Do not use the pump if any damage is found.
  3. Schwimmerschalterprüfung: Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich der Schwimmerschalter frei bewegen kann und nicht durch Ablagerungen blockiert wird.
  4. Winterlager: Before storing the pump for extended periods, especially during freezing temperatures, thoroughly clean it and drain all water. Store the pump in a dry, frost-free location.
