Step 1: Dismounting Cover Plate
- Dismount cover plate B on the rear side of the ECL Comfort controller by using a small wire cutter.
- Remove (cut out) cover B on the back of the ECL Comfort using small pliers.
Step 2: Inserting MODBUS Module
- Insert the MODBUS module into the slides and press it gently into the connector on the ECL Comfort CPU board.
- Gently slide the MODBUS module board into the slot on the ECL Comfort CPU board and press to ensure proper connection.
Step 3: Mounting New Cover Plate
- Insert the MODBUS module into the slides and press it gently into the connector on the ECL Comfort CPU board.
- Install the new B hole cover supplied
Step 4: Connector Insertion
- The connector must be inserted into the ECL Comfort as shown here.
- Connect the electrical connector to the ECL Comfort, as shown in the picture.
Pin connection
- Pin 1 Network connection MODBUS B / DATA + / D1
- Pin 2 (middle) Common / SGND
- Pin 3 Network connection MODBUS A / DATA – / D0
2 poles plus + common are galvanically isolated. The pins are not interchangeable.
There are no pull-up / down resistors and no termination resistors.
