Before first use, fully charge both the parent and baby units. Connect the provided Type C USB cables to the charging ports on each unit and plug them into a compatible USB power adapter (not included, but compatible with most smartphone adapters). The battery indicator on the parent unit's LCD screen will show charging status.

While the units come with rechargeable batteries, you can also use standard AAA batteries if needed. To install, unscrew the battery compartment cover on the back of each unit, insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) with correct polarity, and replace the cover.
