1. Introduction

3. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your HP All-in-One 24 PC:

  1. Unpack the Box: Carefully remove the All-in-One PC, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, power adapter, and any documentation from the packaging.
  2. Position the PC: Place the All-in-One PC on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the power port on the back of the PC, then plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
  4. Install Keyboard and Mouse Batteries: Open the battery compartments on the wireless keyboard and mouse and insert the provided batteries.
  5. Connect Wireless Receiver: Locate the USB wireless receiver (usually stored in the mouse or keyboard) and plug it into an available USB port on the PC.
  6. Power On: Press the power button, typically located on the lower right side or rear of the display. The PC will boot up, and you will be guided through the initial Windows 11 setup process.
  7. Complete Windows Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions to configure Windows 11, including language, region, network connection, and user account creation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the PC on. To shut down, click the Start button in Windows, then select Power > Shut down.
  • Using the Keyboard and Mouse: The included wireless keyboard and mouse are pre-paired with the system. Ensure batteries are installed and the USB receiver is connected.
  • Connecting to Wi-Fi: During initial setup, you will be prompted to connect to a Wi-Fi network. If you need to connect later, go to Windows Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi.
  • Adjusting Display Settings: Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings" to adjust resolution, scale, and other display preferences.

4.2 Using the Camera

Your HP All-in-One PC features an HP True Vision 1080p FHD IR tilt privacy camera. This camera can be physically retracted for privacy. To use the camera:

  1. Activate Camera: Gently push the top edge of the camera module to extend it from the top of the display.
  2. Use Applications: Open any application that uses a camera, such as the Camera app, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom.
  3. Adjust Tilt: The camera can be tilted slightly to adjust the viewing angle.
  4. Ensure Privacy: When not in use, gently push the camera module back into the display to ensure privacy.

4.3 Pre-installed Software

Your PC comes with Windows 11 Home and Microsoft Office Home 2024. Follow the on-screen prompts to activate Microsoft Office upon first use. A 1-year subscription to Microsoft 365 (Basic) is also included.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Display: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for electronics. Dampen the cloth slightly with water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner. Avoid spraying liquid directly onto the screen.
  • Cleaning the Chassis: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the PC. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used.
  • Software Updates: Regularly check for and install Windows updates (Settings > Windows Update) and HP driver updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation openings on the PC are not blocked to prevent overheating.
  • Data Backup: Regularly back up your important data to an external drive or cloud storage to prevent data loss.

6. Troubleshooting

  • PC Does Not Power On:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the PC and the electrical outlet.
    • Verify the electrical outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
    • Check the power adapter for any damage.
  • No Display:
    • Ensure the PC is powered on.
    • If the screen is black but the PC seems to be running, try pressing the display brightness keys on the keyboard.
  • Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Not Responding:
    • Check and replace batteries in the keyboard and mouse.
    • Ensure the USB wireless receiver is securely plugged into a USB port on the PC.
    • Try plugging the receiver into a different USB port.
  • No Internet Connection:
    • Check your Wi-Fi router and modem to ensure they are working correctly.

    • Restart your PC and your router/modem.
  • System Slowdown:
