Product Description

The Lamzu Thorn Wireless Gaming Mouse is an ultra-lightweight, ergonomic gaming mouse designed for high performance. Weighing only 52g, it features a PAW3395 sensor, optical switches, and is 4K compatible for an enhanced gaming experience. It supports both 2.4G wireless and wired connectivity.

3. Setup Guide

Initial Connection

The Lamzu Thorn mouse offers both 2.4G wireless and wired connectivity options.

1. 2.4G Wireless Connection:
   • Locate the USB dongle.
   • Plug the USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer.
   • Turn on the mouse using the switch on its underside. The mouse should automatically connect.
2. Wired Connection:
   • Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the front port of the mouse.
   • Connect the other end of the cable (USB Type-A) to an available USB port on your computer.
   • The mouse will function immediately in wired mode and will also charge its internal battery.

4K Polling Rate Setup (Optional)

For an enhanced polling rate of up to 4000Hz, a separate 4K dongle is required. This dongle is not included in the standard package and must be purchased separately.

• Plug the 4K dongle into your computer.
• Ensure your mouse firmware is updated to support 4K polling rate via the official Lamzu software.
• Activate 4K polling rate within the Lamzu software.

4. Operating Instructions

Ergonomics and Grip Styles

The Lamzu Thorn is designed with an ergonomic shape that is particularly suitable for palm grip and claw grip users, providing comfort and control during extended use.

DPI Adjustment

The mouse's DPI (Dots Per Inch) can be customized to your preference. To adjust DPI settings and other advanced features, download the official Lamzu driver software from the manufacturer's website.

Optical Switches

The Lamzu Thorn utilizes optical switches for its main buttons. This technology uses light detection for actuation, resulting in extremely fast response times and eliminating the risk of double-clicking issues commonly found in traditional mechanical switches. Optical switches also offer superior durability.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Lamzu Thorn mouse, regular cleaning is recommended:

• Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the surface of the mouse.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or spraying liquids directly onto the mouse.
• For the sensor area on the underside, use a cotton swab or compressed air to gently remove dust and debris.

Battery Management

The Lamzu Thorn mouse is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. To maximize battery life:

• Charge the mouse using the provided USB Type-C cable when the battery indicator light shows low power.
• Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
• If storing the mouse for an extended period, charge it to about 50% before storage.

Connectivity Issues

• Mouse not connecting wirelessly:
  • Ensure the USB dongle is securely plugged into a working USB port.
  • Verify the mouse is turned on.
  • Try plugging the dongle into a different USB port.
  • Ensure the mouse is within range of the dongle (typically within 10 meters).
  • Re-pair the mouse with the dongle if necessary (refer to the Lamzu software for pairing instructions).
• Intermittent connection:
  • Reduce interference by moving other wireless devices away from the dongle.
  • Ensure the dongle is not obstructed by metal objects.
  • Consider using the wired connection for stability if wireless issues persist.

Performance Issues

• Inaccurate tracking or cursor lag:
  • Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.
  • Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable mouse pad or surface.
  • Update the mouse firmware and driver software to the latest versions from the Lamzu website.
  • Check your computer's USB power settings to ensure the USB port is not entering a low-power state.
• Buttons not responding or double-clicking:
  • While optical switches are highly reliable, ensure no debris is lodged around the buttons.
