1. Product Overview

The MageGee Star 61 is a compact 60% mechanical gaming keyboard designed for efficiency and performance. It features hot-swappable brown tactile switches, ice blue backlighting with multiple modes, and full anti-ghosting for a responsive gaming and typing experience. 3. Setup Guide

1. Connect the Cable: Insert the USB-C end of the provided cable into the port on the back of the keyboard.
2. Connect to Computer: Plug the USB-A end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer.
3. Driver Installation: The keyboard is plug-and-play and typically does not require additional driver installation. Your operating system (Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7/8/10/Mac OS) will automatically recognize the device.
4. Initial Test: Open a text editor or any application to test the key functionality.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Key Functions

The keyboard features a standard 61-key layout. All keys support full anti-ghosting, ensuring every keystroke is registered accurately, even during rapid input.

4.2 Function (Fn) Key Combinations

Due to its compact 60% layout, many functions are accessed via the Fn key in combination with other keys. The Fn key is located on the bottom right of the keyboard.

4.3 Hot-Swappable Switches

The MageGee Star 61 keyboard features hot-swappable sockets, allowing you to easily change the mechanical switches without soldering. It supports 3-pin switches. This feature enables customization of your typing feel.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning Keycaps: Use the provided keycap puller to carefully remove keycaps. Clean them with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap if necessary. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
• Cleaning the Keyboard Body: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the keyboard body. For dust between keys, use compressed air.
• Avoid Liquids: Do not spill liquids on the keyboard. If a spill occurs, immediately disconnect the keyboard and allow it to dry completely before reconnecting.
• Storage: Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
