3. Setup Guide

The MageGee K1 Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo is designed for plug-and-play convenience, requiring no additional drivers or software for basic functionality.

1. Connect the Keyboard: Locate an available USB port on your computer (PC or Laptop). Insert the USB connector of the keyboard into the USB port.
2. Connect the Mouse: Locate another available USB port on your computer. Insert the USB connector of the mouse into the USB port.
3. System Recognition: Your operating system (Windows XP/Vista/Win7/Win8/Win10, MAC, Linux) will automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. This process may take a few moments.
4. Ready for Use: Once the installation is complete, your keyboard and mouse are ready for immediate use.

4. Keyboard Features and Operation

4.1 Full-Size Layout and Ergonomics

The K1 keyboard features a 104-key full-size layout, including F-keys (function keys) and a number pad, providing comprehensive functionality for both work and gaming. Its ergonomic design with a scientific layout of high and low keycaps ensures maximum comfort and reduces hand fatigue during prolonged use. The floating keycaps are removable for easy cleaning and maintenance.

4.2 RGB LED Backlight Control

The keyboard features a vibrant RGB LED backlight with 8 light colors and 5 light modes. The double-shot injection molding process ensures that keycap letters remain clear and never fade, even with extensive use.

• Change Light Mode: Press FN + Scroll Lock to cycle through the 5 different lighting modes.
• Adjust Brightness: Press FN + Up Arrow to increase brightness and FN + Down Arrow to decrease brightness.
• Adjust Light Speed: Press FN + Left Arrow to decrease light speed and FN + Right Arrow to increase light speed.
• Change Light Effects: Press FN + Home, FN + End, FN + Page Up, or FN + Page Down to activate different light effects.

• DPI Levels: The mouse supports 6 levels of speed: 600, 800, 1200, 1600, 2400, and 3200 DPI.
• Adjust DPI: Use the dedicated DPI button (usually located below the scroll wheel) to cycle through the available DPI settings.

The mouse features a dynamic 7-color breathing LED backlight, enhancing your gaming setup's aesthetics.

• Lock Color: When the mouse cycles to your preferred color, press the side button (forward/back button) and the middle button (scroll wheel click) simultaneously to lock the current color.

• Storage: Store the devices in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
