Product Design
On/Off
Press and hold power button for 3 sec to turn on the device and press it for 3 sec to turn off.
Start/Stop Recording
Press the Video Record button to start video recording, press it again to stop. The VC-1 will beep to confirm the button presses. If the is device connected to wi-fi, then recording can be controlled via an Android smart phone.Red Video Record LED:
- Red LED On: Indicates the device is not recording.
- Red LED Flashing: Indicates the device is recording.
Photo Snapshot
Press the Photo button to take a picture when the device is powered on. The VC-1 will beep to confirm the button press and the photo capture. Control taking photos on an Android smart phone when the device connected to wi-fi.
Tag Video Mark
Holding Video Recording button during recording, will Tag the file as important. The file name on the VC-1 will be updated to include and important tag, “imp” will be added to the video file name.
Note: When the VC-1 is docked in the Visiotech DEMS Docking system, these files will be automatically tagged in the system and important incident files.

Android Wi-Fi APP
Turn Wi-Fi Camera hot spot on & off
Pressing the Video Record button for 3 seconds will turn the cameras Wi-Fi hot spot on and off while the device is in standby mode. The Video Record button LED will turn Blue to indicate Wi-Fi is turned on.
APP Downloading
Download and install the Android app by scanning the QR code below:
Connecting APP to VC-1 Camera
- Press the Video Record button for 3 seconds.
- The Video Record button LED will turn Blue to indicate Wi-Fi is turned on.
- Start the C1 “Logger” Android App on your Android phone
- Click “Connect Device”
- The App will ask you to go into Wi-Fi settings to connect to the VC-1
- Default Wi-Fi password is 123456789
- Once connected, the App will display a live video stream from the VC-1 Camera.
- C1 Logger App users can then:
- Stream live video
- Display recorded files and download the files to play
- Start and stop recording from the App
- Take a photo snapshot from the App
- The time and date on the camera is automatically updated from the App on connection.
- Basic camera settings can be updated.
