Choosing the Right Machine
When selecting a Classeq glass or dishwasher, consider the following:

• Size: Ensure the dimensions of the machine fit your space. Classeq offers C400 and C500 sizes for Undercounter models.

• Water Softener: Determine if a water softener is needed to prevent limescale buildup and maintain machine performance.

Installation

• It’s essential that all your new glass or dishwasher meets your needs from day one and continues to deliver clean plates or glasses service after service for years to come. There are a few key features, technical details, and items of equipment that you need to think about when choosing the right machine for you.
• The great news is we have you covered; every Class comes with a high level of standard equipment and the right options.
  • Will it fit?
    It sounds obvious, but not all Undercounter and pass-through dishwashers are the same size. Check the dimensions of your space and the machine you’re interested in. We offer two sizes of Undercounter machines, the C400 and C500.
  • What power do I need?
    Every model in the Classeq range comes in various power options to match the availability of power on your site and your wash volumes. We have single-phase and three-phase options for each model.
  • Do I need a water softener?
    Hard water can cause limescale to build up in your machine, impacting its performance, washing results, and lifespan. A water softener reduces the hardness of the water before it enters the machine, preventing these issues.
    If you’re located in a hard water area, you will require a water softener.
    An integral water softener is an option on all our models.
  • Do I need detergent and rinse aid pumps?
    Sometimes known as chemical pumps, detergent and rinse aid pumps draw the correct amount of detergent and rinse aid into the machine.
    All our machines, Undercounters, and pass-throughs include detergent and rinse aid pumps as standard.
  • Do I need a drain pump?
    A drain pump is required when the wastewater has to travel higher than the machine’s waste outlet. All our machines have a drain pump as standard.
  • What is WRAS and why is it important?
    WRAS Approval is the accepted way to demonstrate compliance with the Water Supply (Water fittings) Regulations and Scottish bylaws.
    All our machines are fully compliant and feature a “Type AB” air gap, meaning that there is a physical air gap which completely prevents the water from entering and contaminating the mains water supply.

C400 & C500 Undercounter Range

The C400 and C500 models are designed to be either a glasswasher or dishwasher and are set up on installation. They’re built to be simple to use, simple to clean, and robust enough to withstand the rigours of any busy bar or kitchen.

Pass Through

A range of simple-to-use high-volume Pass Through machines available in three model levels based on your wash volumes – Everyday, Intermediate and Intensive Use.

• Select an integral water softener and/or steam recovery unit as required. Choose your power level – single phase, 30 Amp or three phase, 12, 16 or 22 Amp.
• New for the CP500, both the 12 and 16 Amp, three-phase models can be converted on-site to 30 Amp, single-phase.

• New packaging makes one-person installation simple*. Commissioned on installation as a dishwasher or glasswasher.

When volumes increase, it’s important to keep things simple. A Pass Through or ‘Hood Type’ machine reduces the pressure on your kitchen team, allowing baskets to pass through the machine at a faster rate than undercounter machines.
