Power and Electrical Safety
This monitor must be powered only by the power supply listed on the device's rating label. If unsure about your home's power outlet voltage, consult your dealer or energy provider. The monitor is equipped with a three-prong grounded plug, which should only be inserted into a grounded outlet. If your outlet is not grounded, contact an electrician to install a proper outlet or use a grounding adapter. Do not defeat the purpose of the grounded outlet. During thunderstorms or if the monitor will not be used for an extended period, unplug the power cord from the wall socket to prevent damage from power surges. Do not overload extension cords or power strips, as this can cause fire or electric shock. For satisfactory monitor performance, use it only with UL-certified computers equipped with a properly grounded outlet rated for 100-240 Vac, min. 5 A. The outlet should be installed near the device and be easily accessible.
Mounting and Installation
Do not place the monitor on unstable carts, stands, tripods, brackets, or tables. Doing so may cause injury or product damage. Use only the cart, stand, pedestal, bracket, or table recommended by the manufacturer. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and use recommended mounting accessories. Exercise caution when transporting the product on a cart. Never insert objects into the monitor cabinet slots, as this can damage components and circuits, leading to fire or electric shock. Avoid spilling any liquid on the monitor. Do not place the product screen-side down on a surface. If mounting the monitor on a wall or shelf, use a manufacturer-approved mounting kit and follow the provided instructions. WARNING: POWER CORD! RISK OF FATAL ELECTRIC SHOCK! Take appropriate precautions during wall mounting to avoid damaging power lines (electricity, gas, water). Ensure adequate space around the monitor for ventilation to prevent overheating, which could cause fire or damage. Recommended ventilation space around the monitor when installed on a stand or wall is at least 10cm (4 inches) on all sides.
Stand Installation: Follow the steps to attach or remove the stand.
Viewing Angle Adjustment
For optimal viewing, look directly at the monitor and adjust the angle to your preference. Hold the stand to prevent the monitor from tipping. The monitor can be adjusted within a range of -5° to 21°. NOTE: Do not touch the LCD screen when changing the viewing angle, as this may cause damage.
Connecting the Monitor
Connect cables to the rear of the monitor and computer. The monitor features the following ports: 1. DC Power Input, 2. USB Output, 3. USB + Quick Charge, 4. USB 3.2 Gen1, 5. Microphone Input, 6. Headphone (with microphone), 7. HDMI1, 8. HDMI2, 9. DP IN1, 10. DP IN2, 11. Microphone Output (connect to PC).
Connecting to the Computer: 1. Securely connect the power cable to the display. 2. Turn off the computer and disconnect its power cable. 3. Connect the display signal cable to the computer's video connector. 4. Plug the computer and display power cables into an outlet. 5. Turn on the computer and display. If an image appears, installation is complete. If not, refer to Troubleshooting. Always turn off the computer and monitor before connecting.
Adaptive-Sync Function
The Adaptive-Sync function works with DP/HDMI. Compatible graphics cards include various Radeon™ RX and R9/R7 series. For a full list, visit www.AMD.com.
HDR (High Dynamic Range)
This monitor is compatible with HDR10 input signals. The monitor may automatically activate HDR with compatible players and content. Consult the manufacturer and content provider for compatibility information. To disable automatic activation, set HDR to 'OFF'.
Note: For Windows 10 versions prior to V1703, no special settings are needed for DisplayPort/HDMI. In Windows 10 V1703, only HDMI is supported for HDR; DisplayPort does not function. If the monitor resolution is set to 2560*1440 and HDR is enabled, the screen may dim slightly. For optimal HDR effects, ensure your application supports 2560*1440 resolution.
To enable HDR in Windows 10: Navigate to Display settings, then Windows HD Color settings, and ensure 'Use HDR' is turned On.

Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions for common issues:
| Problem/Question | Possible Solutions |
|---|---|
| Power indicator is off | Check if the power switch is on and the power cord is properly connected to the outlet and monitor. |
| No image on screen | Is the power cable connected correctly? Check the power cable connection and power source. Is the signal cable connected correctly? (For D-sub, HDMI, DP cables, check connections. D-sub/HDMI/DP inputs may not be available on all models.) If power is on, restart the computer. If the login screen appears, boot into safe mode and adjust the graphics card frequency. If the login screen does not appear, contact service. Is the message "Unsupported input" displayed? This occurs when the graphics card signal exceeds the monitor's maximum resolution and frequency. Adjust to the monitor's supported resolution and frequency. Ensure AOC monitor drivers are installed. |
| Image is blurry or has multiple images | Adjust brightness and contrast controls. Perform auto-adjustment. Check for and remove extension cords or switches; connect the monitor directly to the graphics card output. Move electrical devices that may cause interference away from the monitor. Use the maximum refresh rate supported by the monitor's resolution. |
| Image flickers, jumps, or shows wavy patterns | Ensure the computer's power switch is ON. Ensure the graphics card is properly seated in its slot. Check the monitor's video cable connection. Inspect the video cable for bent pins. Check if the computer is responsive by pressing CAPS LOCK and observing the LED. Inspect the video cable for damaged pins. Ensure the monitor's video cable is properly connected. |
| Monitor stuck in 'active standby mode' | Adjust horizontal and vertical position, or use the AUTO shortcut. |
| Missing basic colors (RED, GREEN, or BLUE) | Adjust RGB color or select the desired color temperature. |
| Image size is incorrect or not centered | For Windows 7/8/10 users: turn off the computer. Adjust FREQUENCY and FOCUS settings. Perform auto-adjustment. |
| Color distortions (e.g., white is not pure white) | Refer to regulations and service information in the CD manual or on www.aoc.com (support pages for country-specific purchase information and regulations). |
| Horizontal or vertical interference | Refer to regulations and service information in the CD manual or on www.aoc.com (support pages for country-specific purchase information and regulations). |
| Regulations and Service | Refer to regulations and service information in the CD manual or on www.aoc.com (support pages for country-specific purchase information and regulations). |
