SOBO WP-1000F Aquarium Internal Filter Pump
This document provides instructions for the SOBO WP-1000F aquarium internal filter pump.
Product Overview
The SOBO WP-1000F is an internal filter pump designed for aquarium water circulation. It features a filter sponge that absorbs dirt and clears the water, making it suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The unit is fully submersible.
Key Features:
- Absorbs dirt and clears water
- Suitable for freshwater and saltwater
- Fully submersible
Specifications:
- Model: WP-1000F
- Power: 15W
- Flow Rate (F.MAX): 650 L/H
- Voltage: AC 220-240V
- Frequency: 50/60Hz
Safety Considerations
- Ensure the pump is operated within the specified voltage and frequency range.
- Do not use in flammable or corrosive liquids.
- The pump must be fully submerged during operation. Operating it out of water can cause permanent damage.
- Avoid operating the pump in water temperatures above 35°C or below freezing point.
- Do not use the pump if the power cord is damaged.
- When using the pump out of water (e.g., for water changes), ensure pipe fittings are secure and prime the pump with water, expelling any air.
Operating Considerations
- Always disconnect the pump from the electrical socket before performing any maintenance.
- Do not let the pump run dry or out of water for more than 5 minutes.
- Never lift or pull the pump by its power cord, as this can cause the cord to detach or become damaged.
- Turn off the pump and disconnect the power cord before removing it from the water.
- The maximum diving depth for this pump is 3 meters.
- If using an additional socket, ensure it matches the rated voltage and current of the power cord.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance will prolong the life of the pump.
- Remove the front cover and impeller cover, then the impeller unit.
- Use a small brush to clean the cylinder or wash away debris under running water.
Note on Installation: When plugging in the pump, ensure the power plug is inserted into the socket outlet at a higher point than the pump. This prevents water from flowing back through the wire to the socket outlet.
Performance
A clogged or dirty intake screen will reduce pump performance. Clean the intake screen regularly by removing surrounding debris. If a lower flow rate is desired, adjust the flow control lever.
Troubleshooting
If the pump fails to operate:
- Check that the pump unit is receiving a consistent power supply.
Quality Assurance
The product has passed inspection and meets the specified quality standards for factory release.
