Do not disassemble it. · This product is dimmable only with low voltage 0-10v DC dimming systems, do not install with triac dimmers. · Install only on 120VAC circuits only. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on. The user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: - Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. - Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver. - Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. - Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. · This Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Remove all four lens retaining screws (C) and set aside for later use. C Fig. 1 www.energeticlighting.com 3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 2. Separate lens (B) from fixture plate (A) by gently pulling the lens assembly. Disconnect wire B connectors from both ends of the fixture, then set lens (B) aside for later use. 3. Line up the outlet box on mounting surface over the intended knockout on the fixture plate (A), align the fixture plate (A) so that the outlet box is completely covered. While holding the fixture in the intended installation position, mark the location of the mounting holes on the mounting surface. Set the fixture aside. DRYWALL MOUNTING: If the mounting holes go through drywall without a stud, drill four small pilot holes using a 1/8-in. drill bit (not included), and install Drywall CC drywall anchors (CC) into the holes with a hammer (not included). Wall Stud CEILING STUD MOUNTING: If the mounting holes go through ceiling studs, drill four small pilot holes using a 5/32-in. drill bit (not included) for the wood screws (AA). Feed the supply wires from outlet box through the knockout on fixture plate (A). Align the mounting holes on the fixture plate (A) A to the holes drilled on the mounting surface and secure each with a wood screw (AA) and a Washer (BB). BB AA 6. Connect the supply wires to the fixture wires -- black to black, white to white, and green to copper/bare; secure each with a wire nut (DD). WARNING: If there is no ground supply wire, stop installation and consult a qualified electrician. OPTIONAL: If dimming system is to be used with light fixture, connect low voltage 0-10v DC leads, purple to purple(positive lead), and gray to gray (negative lead). Otherwise, if fixture is not intended to be dimmed, leave gray and purple leads capped and insulated. 7. Replace the lens (B) over fixture plate (A) and secure with original 4 screws. 9. OPTIONAL: To add the pull chain extension (EE) to pull chains on fixture body, insert the ball end of the pull chain into the opening of pull chain extension (EE). Pull the ball of pull chain into the narrow end of the pull chain extension (EE) until it locks into place. C Fig. 8 Fig. 9 CARE AND MAINTENANCE Clean with a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner and soft cloth. Do NOT use solvents or cleaners containing abrasive agents. When cleaning the fixture, make sure the power is turned off, and any liquid spray should be applied to the cleaning cloth and not sprayed directly onto the fixture itself. TROUBLESHOOTING Problem Fixture does not light. Possible Solution Corrective Action 1. Power is off. 1. Check circuit breaker or wall switch. 2. Incorrect wire connection. 2. Check wire splices. 3. Defective wall switch. 3. Replace switch. Circuit breaker trips Crossed wires or power when light is turned on. wire is grounded out. Verify wires are correctly connected. WARRANTY This fixture is warranted to perform free from defects for five years. If it fails to do so, you may return it with proof of purchase to 13445 12th St., Chino, CA 91710 for replacement. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 10. The indicator light pull chain switch will toggle the indicator light on and off.
