The MX304 router is a compact, 2U platform designed for scalability, offering a system capacity of 4.8 Tbps. Built on the Juniper Networks Trio 6 chipset, it is optimized for demanding edge requirements across various network environments, including business, residential, mobile, cable, and data centers. The router operates on the Junos OS and supports pluggable Routing Engines, power supply modules (AC, DC, or HVAC/HVDC), and up to three line card MICs (LMICs).
