Position the Sensor

Place the sensor on a table, ceiling, or wall, ensuring it faces the center of the room. For optimal performance, make sure there’s a clear line of sight between the sensor and A/C devices.

Connect the USB-C cable to the sensor and plug it into a power outlet.

Confirm the Layla Sensor is Online

Once powered on, the Layla Sensor’s LED will blink YELLOW for up to 5 minutes as it connects to the internet.

Once connected, the LED will turn GREEN for 5 minutes before turning off, confirming a successful setup.

Only clean the Layla Sensor with a dry cloth.
The device is designed to operate indoors or outdoors (-10 to 50°C/14°F to 122°F).
Avoid direct sunlight and precipitation.
Exposure to dusty or challenging environments (e.g., marine or polluted environments) may negatively affect the Layla Sensor.

Do not wash or submerge the device in water.
Ayaw tamper with, disassemble, paint, puncture, hammer, or drop the Layla Sensor, as this may degrade performance, render the device inoperable, void the warranty, and the user’s authority to operate this equipment.

Layla warrants to the original end-user of the Layla Sensor hardware that, when properly installed and operated, if the Layla Sensor hardware fails due to defects in material and workmanship within one (1) year from the date of purchase, Layla will repair or replace at no charge to you any components that fail.
This is not a warranty for uninterrupted performance; all factors are dependent upon wireless signal or cellular network availability and the user’s specific installation needs.
The customer shall be responsible for any related transportation charges.
Replacement products may be new or refurbished at Layla’s discretion.
If mandatory local law requires a warranty period longer than one (1) year, this warranty shall be extended to the extent required by such law.
To the extent that any implied warranties cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, any such required implied warranty is limited to the maximum extent permitted by such laws.
In the USA, any implied warranty that Layla cannot disclaim under law is limited to the duration of the express warranty (or a lesser period if
permitted by such law).

• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, such remedy shall be your sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty.
