1. Product Overview

The Mophorn Remote Control Automatic Parking Lock is designed to secure your private parking space. It features a robust, waterproof metal casing and offers convenient remote operation. This device helps prevent unauthorized parking and provides protection against external impacts.

2. Setup and Installation

Proper installation ensures the security and functionality of your parking lock. The unit is designed for secure floor mounting.

Installation Steps:

  1. Choose Location: Select a suitable, flat surface within your parking space for mounting. Ensure the location allows for the full range of motion of the parking lock arm.
  2. Mark Drilling Points: Place the parking lock base on the desired spot and mark the positions for the mounting holes.
  3. Drill Holes: Use an appropriate drill bit to create holes at the marked points.
  4. Secure the Unit: Insert the provided expansion bolts into the drilled holes. Place the parking lock over the bolts and tighten securely. Ensure the unit is firmly attached to the ground.
  5. Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the base of the unit. Insert 4 D-cell batteries (not included) according to the polarity indicators. Close the compartment securely.

3. Operating Instructions

The parking lock is operated using the provided remote control.

Using the Remote Control:

  • To raise the parking lock arm (secure position), press the Up button on the remote control.
  • To lower the parking lock arm (unlocked position), press the Down button on the remote control.

Automatic Alarm System:

The integrated alarm system will activate if the parking lock arm is subjected to unauthorized force or attempts to be manually lowered without the remote control. This provides an additional layer of security for your parking space.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Mophorn parking lock.

Battery Replacement:

  • When the battery level is low, the unit may indicate this with a specific light pattern or reduced performance.
  • To replace batteries, use the provided key to unlock the battery compartment on the base.
  • Remove the old batteries and insert 4 new D-cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  • Securely close and lock the battery compartment.

Cleaning and Care:

  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • While the unit is waterproof, avoid submerging it in water for extended periods (e.g., more than 4 hours).
  • Regularly check mounting bolts for tightness and re-tighten if necessary.

5. Troubleshooting

Remote Control Not Responding:

  • Check Batteries: Ensure the batteries in both the parking lock and the remote control are fresh and correctly installed.
  • Re-pair Remote Control: If the remote control loses connection, follow these steps to re-pair it:
    1. Connect the power supply (ensure batteries are installed). The LED indicator will light up for approximately 4 seconds.
    2. During this 4-second window, first press the Unlock button on the remote, then immediately press the Lock button.
    3. A flashing LED on the parking lock indicates successful pairing.
  • Obstruction: Ensure there are no physical obstructions between the remote control and the parking lock.

Alarm Sounds Unexpectedly:

  • Check for Tampering: The alarm is designed to activate if unauthorized force is applied. Inspect the unit for signs of tampering or impact.
  • Environmental Factors: Extreme weather conditions or vibrations might trigger the alarm. Ensure the unit is securely mounted.

Parking Lock Arm Does Not Move Smoothly:

  • Clear Debris: Check for any debris (e.g., small stones, leaves) obstructing the arm's movement mechanism.
