USE OF DEVICE

Place the device on a flat surface. Moisten the suction a little to keep the unit firmly in place on the counter.
Insert the heel of blade sequentially in both slots of sharpening section (1), on the left side of the device. Insert the heel of blade into the reshaping slot (1) and move the blade in both directions parallel to the table surface, at first the left and then the right-hand part of the sharpening slot (1). Slightly lift up on the knife handle as the curved portion near the tip is drawn through the grinding wheels. Repeat until the knife blade is sharp enough. To optimize sharpening of each 5 cm of blade, you need to move such blade length in the reshaping slot (1) for one second.

Insert the heel of blade into the fine honing slot (2) and move the blade in both directions parallel to the table surface, at first the left and then the right-hand part of the fine honing slot (2). Slightly lift up on the knife handle as the curved portion near the tip is drawn through the grinding wheels. Repeat until the knife blade is sharp enough. To optimize sharpening of each 5 cm of blade, you need to move such blade length in the fine honing slot (2) for one second.
After sharpening clean the knife in hot water and detergent.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug from the outlet when not in use, before cleaning and before attempting to adjust parts. Clean the outside surface of the appliance with a damp cloth. Never immerse this appliance in water or other liquids in order to clean it. Do not insert the device into the water in order to clean it. In order to remove the metal filings and shards, remove the plastic plugs that are located on the bottom of the unit and gently shake the device.
